Do you have that one little spot in the house that you just have to have clean?

My daughter just told me I've gone coo coo about my coffee table. We live in a small apartment and when I walk in the first thing I see is the coffee table. I like to see the sun shining off the glass top. I like having one Bible lying open in the middle, a candle on each side of the Bible, and treasure box type storage boxes on each end. They hold the keys,sunglasses,ect..It works perfectly but my husband and child insist on piling it up with drinks,fishing hats,books,clutter!GRRR... On the other hand, there is a recliner that sits right by the door. It is ever so convenient to walk in and drop coats,bags,purses, right into this chair. This is my husband's favorite chair in the world and he hates moving things to sit down...So at my house its a constant battle of the chair and table.. Do you have that one place you like to keep perfect? If so what is it and have you succeeded?
