Why sometimes we cannot access some website?

There are a few reasons that I can think of. The first one is your internet connection. It could be that your internet provider has blocked the access for some reasons or accidentally blocking certain IP addresses due to security reasons. The other one that I can think of is that the site is blocking your IP. Some sites only prefer people from certain IP numbers to go in and filter iut those IP that they do not want visits from. The last reason that I can think of is that your internet connection is too slow to load the site or there is something wrong with your PC. You might want to run an anti virus as well as spyware scans on your PC to ensure that there is no problem in that areas. That's a ll that I can think of. Cheers!

Usually when you try and access another website and you are unsuccessful, it may be that your http request cannot reach the other server, or you can't find what you are looking for. If you are getting the 404 or Not Found error message, then it indicates that the client (eg. your web browser's request) was able to communicate with the server at the other end, but the server there could not find what the client is requesting. Perhaps the page was not available at that time, or non-existent maybe because the address you provide is wrong or the page has been moved. If your http request is unable to make a connection to the destination server at all, then you will likely get a "server not found" error. Maybe the destination server is down at the time you are trying to access it. Also I think if your internet connection is slow, you may be waiting for a prolonged period and yet not get any response from the other side, in which case nothing seems to be happening, or you get a timeout from your browser, in which case you can try refreshing to try and do a reconnection. the client was able to communicate with the server but either the server could not find what was requested, or it was configured not to fulfill the request

When you are accessing a web site sometimes th etraffic to the site is heavy so you are not able to get easy access and at times some servers have a problem and are unavailable but are able tobe accessed after a while. you probably may have accessed it at a time when it was not available. When you have such a problem, wait for a while and try after a few hours. if it is a persistant problem then you can approach your service provider.

I would say that the server gets busy. Or else your computer is just slow. ;) I have had that happen SOOOOOOOOOOO many times. Not here on myLot, but on a different site. I won't be able to access it for hours, and when I finally am able to access it again, I see that everybody else there has been posting away the entire time that I have been unable to access it! It always makes me feel paranoid, like the Moderators there purposefully blocked me for some reason, even though I am a respected member there and everybody likes me! *LOL* I tried asking once, but everybody just says, "Well, the site works fine for me, don't know what your problem is." *sigh* Oh well. At least it doesn't only happen to me! But, I am very sorry that it DOES happen to you!

I have that problem to at times... one of two things... your internet connection got temporarily interrupted or the server became overloaded... sometimes hitting refresh cures the issue if not try try again...
