Hi. Have you read the Harry Potter books? If you did arnt you upset with the way J.K Rowling ended the series. It is like killing the series and she cant continue even if she wants to. Dont you agree?

Yeah i've read all 7 books and i'm not dissapointed with the ending. J.K Rowling did a great job. It'l be good to have another great series to crave for but like others have said it is always nice reading the books all over again. I have made a mental commitment to take a vacation and go somewhere with Harry Potter in my luggage, where i will spend all day reading the books all over again from The Philosopher's Stone to The Deathly Hallows. The more i think about it the more exciting it seems.

I've finished reading the whole series and I love it, I cried a lot when I read the Deathly Hollows coz aside from that it was really a great ending but a part of me is like parting ways with a dear friend.

I've read all seven Harry Potter books, and I absolutely love the series. However, I am not upset that the series is over, because if you read all books, you would realize that she have always planned it to be seven books. I love the way she was able to wrap it up, and its pretty obvious at the end of the seventh book, that she already knew how she is going to finish the series even when she started the first one. JK Rowling definitely is a great writer.

Hi, Nope.I haven't read all the Harry Potter series.I have to read the seventh book-Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows.I haven't been able to read that book yet, though I was a big fan of Harry Potter after the books released.I got caught up in studies, movies, other books(got caught up in the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer) and tv series and didn't make time to read the book.I need to read that book sooner or later. I agree with you,she could have continued but imagine writing huge,never-ending novels. It would definitely be hard on her and maybe she thought now that series should come to an end.I doubt she's going to stop writing entirely especially since she likes writing novels(I think).

I think the worse part about how she ended the series was the fact that she ended the series. It did seem out of place, however, I felt that it was about time that Rowling ended it after 7 books (after all, Harry Potter has to get on with his life). The best part about the ending is that Malfoy named his son Scorpion lol what a name. We never find out who Malfoy marries, causing my friend to go into a frenzy (because she loves him ^^).

I remember I used to read the Harry Potter series, and I loved it very much. During the start of the series when the whole novel series got hyped up, I still didn't see what the whole craze was all about until a close friend of mine recommended that I read the book. So far I've only read until the 5th book, The Order of the Pheonix, and I thoroughly enjoy all the main plots and subplots, some of which are not shown in the movies. I didn't read further because I became too busy nowadays, but I hope someday I could continue reading the remaining books. By the way, I know many people are upset and disappointed that J.K. Rowling decided to end the series, especially when everyone enjoyed it so much. I understand that; but I also realize that writing such thick books and novels are not easy too, especially when everyone out there is eagerly waiting for the release of the book and have high expectations for it. With all those stress piling on J.K. Rowling's shoulders, it's really not simple to come up with a storyline that appeals to all. I guess that's her personal decision, and we should respect that. I think the best we could do is to re-read the whole series again and again since there's no more sequels....
