Finding alternatives to selling on ebay

Hey all! I have been selling on ebay for the last 7 years and although it has made me some money, I am finding that in these troubled financial times here in the US, people are not shopping like they once were. I have done everything like ebay has said, like offer free shipping, use their 30-day fixed price listings, etc. And yet still I am not seeing a big jump in sales. Is anyone else experiencing the same problems? One thing I have found lately is that I have been looking for alternative ways to make money.
