I laugh my a$$ off when I see someone sleeping during a movie. And I'm not talking about a little old nap. I talking about the guy who's sitting there with his head leaned all the way back and his mouth wide open. and of course he's snoring. I know most people might find it annoying, but I get a kick out of it. I saw this one time when me and my cousin went to the movies, and this guy was sitting there snoring his a$$ off! I know people pay there money and don't wanna be disturbed, but we took more of an interest in the guy sleeping rather than the movie. One of my buddies used to do that alot. We go to the movies at 12 in the afternoon and he passes out. I din't see how the hell you fall asleep in the middle of the afternoon after a good nights sleep. Now that's annoying

My dad goes to the cinema to sleep. he likes the background noise and the cold air and the darkened room combined. We used to watch movies as a family but he'd just zone out halfway through the movie. No he either goes alone or with another sleeping buddy. it's quite funny. Good thing he has a big senior citizen discount and doesn't have to pay much to sleep. I never fall asleep in the theater though because I'm always interested to see the movie.

There have been a few times I fell asleep in the movies. Usually I was really tired but my friend wanted to see it. The one I remember most as Lord Of The Rings. I fell asleep and every time I woke up I was mad the movie was still on. What I saw of the movie was boring, and it seemed to go on and on and on.

lol. I remember going to see the second blair witch project movie. It wasn't my choice, but my friends wanted to go so I went. The movie sucked so bad, I actually leanded over to sleep on purpose. I was tired allready and that movie pissed me off. But what pissed me off even more was my friends kept tapping me and waking me up. I had to tell them to screw off! They finaly got the hint that I was sleeping on purpose cause I wasn't enjoying the film. The lord of the rings was very long. I enjoyed it. I'm glad I had the privelage of seeing them all on dvd, which gave me the option of sttopping the movie and taking a brake for some snacks and a nap!

Hi Stinge, When I read your post I laughed and just had to stop by and put in my two cents in. Yes I have fallen asleep at the movies and woke myself up from my own snoring. I was so embarrassed and looked around to see if anyone else heard it. I coughed a little trying to cover it up but I know it was too late for that. I did remember when I was a teenager and saw someone as you described with the head back and mouth opened. Like I said I was a teen and probably not a well behaved one, because my friend and I were taking turns on target practice with our popcorn. I do not remember if we ever got any direct shots into his mouth, but I do remember hitting him in the face a few times before he woke up. I do not recommend anyone doing this unless there are other popcorn lovers near you, as there is no one else to blame. LOL

I have never fallen asleep during a movie before. But I have seen and been with people who have. I have never understood it. Why spend the money to go see a movie if you are just going to sleep through. Just save your money, stay home and nap!!

That depends on what type of movie I watch..if I find it interesting there's no chance I'm going to fall asleep, even if I'm tired and my eyes have a life of their own =)

I have never fallen asleep. But I have a friend that has. Not only that be ended up snoring loudly. People around us were laughing. I woke him up and we left. If he was that tired we couldn't watch the movie.

i have to say that i have never fallen asleep in the movies or even come close. the only place i can really fall asleep is in bed and i even have trouble falling asleep there on occasion. i guess you would have to be really sleep deprived or really bored with the movie to fall asleep like that. i would think it is embarrassing but that is just my opinion.

I have never fallen asleep at the movies. But, my brother has. He was watching a boring movie and fell asleep for hours! It was funny. Especially when people started to get annoyed by my brother's snoring. Soon almost the whole theater was shouting at us and to tell my brother to shut up. I finally woke him up, even though I wanted to see what would happen if I didn't.

If you can believe it, I fell asleep on Star Wars but i was pregnant at the time. I guess that was my excuse. In general, though, somtimes you just want to go out with your spouse to spend time with them but if you are tired from the day, it is sometimes difficult. Really.

You must respect the people who is sleeping. You know,if somebody is sleeping,he won't wake up.If you disturb he,he may be qurral with you

I know that was so funny to see someone really sleep in the movies like that. The man didn't know that he was that tired and came to the movies any way. So you know when it started the seat was comfortable. And that is all that it took for him to pass out. If he was alone no one around bothered him. Had he came with someone they would have woke him up.
But I know that you had to have laugh through just about the whole movie. Something like that you can't miss even if you tried. I guess when you get comfortable you can't help but fall to sleep. The movies is a great place to do that. The seats are that comfortable, so you would expect someone to fall asleep some times.
You may have laughed but you can bet that there were other people there that were mad. They spent money to see a movie and the sleeping guy was more interesting than the movie. There were some that didn't laugh about that at all. Have a good one.

Yes, I have fallen asleep in movies before. That was because I wasn't feeling well.. lol.. The other reason that I fell asleep during a movie is when the movie is really dull and boring, that's the time where I actually feel my eyes drooping downwards and me thinking why the hell am I in here watching such a stupid dumb movie.. and yes, at times I'll be woken up by my husband asking me whether i'm sleep.. hahah..
maybe he was up all night? maybe he didn't get a good sleep at night, that's why he passed out at the movies at 12 in the afternoon.. lol.. I work at night.. so sleeping in the afternoon is normal for me.. :)
Have a great day and take care!

If I want to see a movie, I'm not going to just fall asleep. But I do like watching other people sleep, just not during the movies. I love watching people sleep in school, so much more fun than my math lesson! I can just not pay attention the whole block, then I get the homework and wonder what we were doing the whole time!

I almost fell asleep while watching Kung Fu Panda with my boyfriend. That was because I had not slept for twenty four straight hours. Good thing that the movie was very funny and I got some menthol inhalers for me to keep me awake during the whole movie. But swear, when we got home, I was knocked out.

this guy makes people sick and hatry.you know you watch movies, but someone disturbes you,you will feel annoying.yes, beaucuse the man doesnt respect you ,and make you uncomfortable.you should wake up this guy and tell him that if you are keeping like that, there are many people will laugh at you.if it cant work, you make him awaked laugh loudly when you see a funny movie.he will be ask you to stop laughing ,just then you can say you dont respect us ,why let us respect you?at last he will be unreason,he wont disturbe you again...........
