What is the basic concept of Airplanes

Dear frnds, What is the basic concept of the direction of planes while it is flying in the sky. I dont know how the planes achieve the path and how it reache sthe desired direction. plz reply

hello. all aeroplanes have a compass. they also have an instrument called a directional gyro which aids the pilot in knowing the heading of the aircraft
