Obama as a Secret Service agent?

With all the controversy that's been surrounding Obama since his campaign began, such as his citizenship being in question, and his affiliations with terrorists and such... here's a question to ponder.
What if Barrack Obama was applying for a job as a secret service agent, or an FBI agent? Do you think his not so perfect record would allow him the job?
It is a known fact he is associated with a terrorist who bombed the US Capitol in the 70's... so don't you think this would look bad on his resume to become a secret service agent?
Well if he's not good enough to protect the president... how is it that he's good enough to BE the president?

It never ceases to amaze me the depths of silliness the Republicans will stoop to in order to smear the name of this good man. Obama doesn't have to do this with McCain; his record speaks for itself.
Many people have said that Obama would be passed to be a secret service agent. This is another lame attempt to make people fear him.
It will all come out in the wash tomorrow. Whenever the Republicans are afraid that they are losing, they bring out the fear tactics. I'll be so glad when they go back into their holes and lick their wounds.

McCain's record is that he voted with Bush 96% of the time.
Obama has a fine record: He ran his campaign much better than McCain. He used better judgment when he selected a running mate. He talks about hope, doesn't dwell on fear. He is inspiring, not nasty.
Free speech is not in danger at all with Obama. Please stop being afraid. There's no reason for it.

The only reason McCain's record speaks for itself is because he HAS a record. All we can get on Obama is a bunch of question marks and empty promises.
As for Republicans living in holes, well, you're right, they'll definitely be prevented from speaking if Obama wins. He's certainly done an excellent job keeping everyone in the dark so far.

The only things republicans will be doing IF Obama is elected is watching the country crash and burn and say "We told you so".

"no one on the board or on the Annenberg Challenge staff remembers Obama being any closer to Ayers than to any other member of the board. The Annenberg board also included several civic, business and education leaders, many of them Republicans." -- http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=95442902
Also:
"It was never a concern by any of us in the Chicago school reform movement that he had led a fugitive life years earlier," said former Illinois state Republican Rep. Diana Nelson, who worked with both Obama and Ayers over the years. "It's ridiculous. There is no reason at all to smear Barack Obama with this association. It's nonsensical, and it just makes me crazy. It's so silly."

It's not just the terrorist in question. He's also been associated with other people that have raised questions, such as a reverand from a church he used to belong to.
All of these things put together... chances are he wouldn't get a secret service job.

Please. The Secret Service/FBI don't care who someone's PASTOR was when looking at them for a job.
This is all pure speculation, anyway. You could also easily argue that McCain's age/health/war trauma would disqualify him from the same position(s). Is that a good reason to say he isn't qualified to be President?
This is all non-sequitur through and through.

It's already been stated by some FBI big shots that he would not pass the background check for the FBI due to his affiliation to certain groups and past terrorists. Although he always loves to claim he doesn't know the guy, sorry, he did more than just sit with him on the board.

Funny how they allow him to run for president though, isn't it? Also funny how his supporters seem to think he's an angel. They'll listen to any bullspit thrown at them, won't they?

Because they are mesmerized. Plus they swallow the party line that it is all just fear-mongering from the opposition, lol. Look at what ClarusVisum quotes all the time. He doesn't stop and pause and think about that maybe there might be something to it, no, he just goes and looks at the relevant party oriented sites with all the information to 'disarm' the opposition... No matter how often Obama changes course, changes his statements, puts a new more convenient spin on things, it's all okay.

I agree, our presidential candidates should be treated as if they're applying for the FBI or secret service.
I am praying that our country makes the right choice today.

Actually it is fact that he is associated with a terrorist. That is not a smear campaign or rumor.

All this sounds so stupid. All you have to do to tell Barrack Obama is a good Christian soul is to look into his eyes. When you look in his eyes you can see light and this is the light of Jesus Christ. So he's not the anti-Christ and he's not a terrorist. We've all most likely known at last one very bad person in our lives that we crossed paths with. This doesn't mean that we are bad, or wicked, like that person is. His African father who was Muslim wasn't around for most of Barrack's childhood. His mother who had good values raised him installing in him those same good Christian values. If the older gent republican gets elected and God forbid something happens to him that woman will become president. And she's already pointed out just how rash she would act if our country was in trouble. If Ms. Alaska would become president our country would be in big trouble.

Obama is a Democrat. The Democratic Party has many who are anti abortion (and who are believing either in an overturn of Roe Vs. Wade or for more likely a state by state approach as that would be more likely to be approved)and then there are a lot of people on the pro choice side which have heavily influenced the party platform.
Those who are against abortion often still often want it to be allowed in some cases... where a mother's life will be in danger, in cases of incest, and in limited other cases...I think that Barrack falls under this category.
He has been forced not to be against it completely because of the party platform...
Has voted present rather than yes or no in many cases... kind of a I'm here but I am abstaining...
Has voted against a restriction against partial birth abortions which was a duplicate law, meaning that there was another law on the books already banning partial birth abortions. He did not, as some have said, voted to allow partial birth abortions. That was an outright lie.
He did vote in that case to prevent the exclusion of the exceptions for the saftey of the mother from the law as he believed that exception was needed and did not vote for the criminalization of the doctors in abortion cases as that would have been most likely unconstitutional.

If Barrack Obama is such a good Christian, why is he all for abortion rights? Just tell me that.

Oh, he'd be sent straight to Guantanamo Bay. He's a horrible, wicked, evil person. No doubt about it. He'd obviously try to force them to spread their information around if he ever got in. (But that's not possible. His religion doesn't fit with mine so it's evil.)

That is a true statement that you made. But look how long it took them to come out with it that he knew someone that wanted to bomb the US Capital. He knew the person but was not down with what he was going to do. If he did apply for the secret service. This is something that might not have even came out at all.
Think about all the agents that they have that are not even us born. If they felt that he was a good enough agent they would have over looked something like that. There are things they overlook all of the time. This is something small, now if he was the son of a terrorist that would be different.
I think they just did that to have people look down on him and to not vote for him as the next president. But it didn't stop people from voting for him. Neither did the story about his Aunt either. Tonight will show that people have faith in him.

It should be stated that no president has gone through a background check that would make a president fit to be an FBI agent and it is quite true the our present President would have been denied fitness as he had arrests for drunk driving and as there were allegations that he may have lied under oath in a court case. And that was before he got into office. We won't even talk about the illegalities he engaged in after obtaining office.

And there are considerable questions regarding the AIP and Sarah Palin's husband... As there is an actual video on youtube which has the leader of that party in Alaska which is for the seperation of Alaska from the lower 48, a treasonous organization, which claims that Sarah herself was a member of that organization and that she switched in an attempt to infiltrate the Republican Party as the AIP was unsuccessful at getting anywhere while acting on behalf of itself. It is clear that Sarah's husband indeed was a member until fairly recently and that he, without being elected to office, does in fact spend a lot of time in the office influencing the decisions of those that Sarah deals with. There are some who have raised concerns about both of these things.
With all of this I doubt that she could pass a background check either...

This talk of background checks frankly is rather stupid...
If it is not required, then it is not required.
And one side throwing stones at the other is not a smart idea when both sides are in glass houses.
I have seen a lot of stone throwing in this area and others by those on this campaign and it is unseemly and unfortunate...
The question we should really be asking is:
Do we actually want a president to have a top secret clearance?
One man who has one said,: Some who have them are rather shady with ties to places like Kuwait and China and most of 'em have each participated in more illegal activities than most people have fingers to count on. TS needs to be renewed every 5 years. Chances are the later in life McCain got, the less likely he'd be granted TS under normal circumstances (ie winning the presidency is not normal circumstances).
I know one person with Q and two with TS, and past histories aside their personalities and interpersonal relationships are just so distinctly different from what you'd find in someone running for presidency. Because the personality characteristics of someone running for presidency usually don't meld very well with what they want from such a high clearance level."

It's my understanding no matter the innuendo that Barrack Obama's citizenship has been in several courts, all thrown out. The director of the Hawaiian Health Department and the registrar of vital statistics have verified that the public health department holds Obama's original birth certificate.
