I learned how to cook by observing how my mother and sister cooked. Besides when we were small kids we were already taught how to cook rice. Our food is simple and at an early age we can cook what we eat. Usually girls are trained by mothers to cook at an early age especially for families that cannot afford a maid. I have learned to cook not too early because i had my elder sisters and brothers to do the cooking for the family. But when I was in high school I learned a little bit of cooking. i was alone at home that time and I have to learn to be on my own.

My mom taught me how to cook rice and some viands by observing and helping cut up vegetables unitl I do the sauteing and then frying. I also was taught by the househelp and aunts and uncles who really know how to cook. Thehn in grade school we had home economics which included cooking, then practical arts in high school which includes cooking and baking and making salted eggs. Anyways, the salted eggs we made were not a success Then I watch cooking shows and read recipes and books and I like most is the trial and error taught me how to cook.

I taught myself to cook. My mother was a terrible cook. About all she could do was stick a roast in the oven and take vegetables out of the freezer. As soon as I was old enough, she more or less turned most of the cooking over to me. We had some cookbooks that she never used, so I started looking through them and trying out new recipes. When I got to high school we had to take home economics, which included cooking, and it was a joke because about all they taught was the kind of stuff I'd learned already, or things to make for parties.

My grandmother had taught me how to cook. SHe had moved in with us when I was about 11 years old and that is when I started cooking. After she had moved out then my mom finished teaching me how to cook.

The basics like rice and curry was learnt through my mother. But the rest was learnt when I did home economics at school. It was fun and I like cooking now, although I am not a wonderful cook, I like to try new recipes.

I learned to cook under the guide of my mother of course! And my elder sister sometimes gave her advices to me but in fact I didn't take them(^_^).To be honest,my experience of cooking really brought me good in my later daily life.I can't forget that once I cooked for about fifty people when in my grandma's!And of course I received lots of praise that day! lols...
