Hands down Anderson Silva is the pound for pound #1 fighter in the world. He is so dangerous with his stand up game from his phenominal knees and elbows from any spot, to his long distance powerful punches and kicks. He really doesn't even need the ground game, but on that note he is one of best in the world with armbars and triangle chokes with anaconda tightness.

I agree 100% and I hope he keeps his middleweight belt and I also hope he becomes the champion of the light heavyweight class as well. I think he has the skills to be champion in both weight classes.
My other favorite fighter is George "Rush" St Pierre. I wish they were in the same weight class so they could fight. I think that would be interesting.

Anderson silva is the best pound for pound fighter right now the only fighter in my opinion that could handle him is GSP they need to come to each others weight and determine whose greater because they both are great Pound for Pound.

Hands down to Silva as the #1 pound-for-pound best fighter in the world. He rivals George St. Pierre as being complete fighter. No one can argue with the fact that he he has the best stand up game in the sport today. I mean, just look how perfect he is a striker. He's tall and has long limbs which give him most of the time the reach and height advantage against his opponents. The presence of great defense and offense in his striking game is second to none. He has great speed because of his footwork and that's what make him very elusive and if he ever got hit, he still has a granite chin that can absorb hard blows. And his legendary accuracy - just thinking of how he dismantled Chris Leben with his 100% accuracy on that fight gives me the chills. He didn't miss a single strike, and all of them, landed flush on Leben's head. Plus this guy has a very good ground game. Having a blackbelt in BJJ from the man with the most submission wins in MMA - Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira just tells enough in how good his ground game is.

I agree, but i think he has to fight GSP first to really cement his name as the best in the world. Then if ever he wins the GSP fight, Dana will let him move up to the 205lbs division. Jon Jones will be the toughest challenge he will face in my opinion. Jones is a younger, taller, stronger, more dynamic version of Anderson Silva and the scary part is he's only 23 years old and he is still GETTING BETTER! He is the future of UFC. He will reign the light heavyweight for a very long time.
