it's always been said that God is Love; and Love is God. i believe thats the holistic definition of love. however, i wanted to go down with the human level. maybe you could share, based on an experience, on what you have read, or even based on your emotion and understanding. at one point in my life, i joined beauty pageants. in my introduction, i talked about real beauty... here's some part of my intro, "there are two classification of beauty, one is pulchritude and the other is vitue. pulchritude is outer beauty... that fades as time passes by.... while virtue is the inner self, that is durable and always remain to person as time goes on...." i've been using that lines all over again when i joined pageants. on the talent portion, i dance or do lipsynch beyonce's hits. i truly enjoyed joining pageants coz i'm able to express myself and able to share my talents and capabilites to others. after the series of competition, i.e., national costume, casual wear, talent, swimwear and gown/formal wear, it follows the quetion and answer portion to determine the candidate's intellectual ability. because in a pageant, its not always the beauty being considered, also the brains. the judge asked me this very simple question... "how would you define love?" at first, i was surprised coz other candidates were asked quite difficult and tricky questions like their opinions about financial crisis, inflation, the greatest problem of the nation, greatest fear, how would you sell a chocolate to a diabetic patient, etc... i was asked with a very common and simple question. my answer was, "love is the binding force that makes us, for without it, human will no longer exist."
