Goat Cheese Anyone?

I think it's funny how many people are weirded out by the idea of eating goat chees. It's not like it's any different than getting cheese from a cow. So many people are afraid of it because they didn't grow up eating it. I was the same way, at first. But goat cheese is awesome! Anyone out there afraid of eating goat cheese?

Love goats cheese, love the tang, love the ones rolled in ash (have you tried it)? Here in Oz you can buy goats cheese in the supermarket.

yep, don't know what kind but the cheese comes in little logs which have been rolled in ash. adds a certain piquancy (love that word!) to the flavour.

I'll try anything once, but around here goat cheese isn't really sold in every day grocery stores. Certainly I know where I could get it, but since I like different cheeses already, I don't feel the need to try it. Although if it were ever served at a dinner or party, I would certainly give it a try.

I guess around here cheese is pretty popular. We even have specialty stores that carry just about any cheese you can think of, not to mention ones I've never heard of. I definitely recommend trying it at least once. It's very creamy and a lot different than cow cheese.

I don't think that I have ever tried anything that came from a goat especially goat cheese. I do not think that it is even available in my area. I would try it though if I had the chance.

I have not seen any goat cheese in the store where I live. I will have to check some other stores because I would like to try some.
