Do you also use dictionary to look up new words?

In the mordern society , the computer is very popular, it is a encyclopaedia. During i further study in middle school, high school, university. every english class or do english homework,i must take out the thick dictionary to check new english words and phrase. Its a hard time, now i collect it as treasure souvenir. now i look up word on line high efficiently via web-dictionary. What about you? By the way could you please recommend some good dictionary online?

I do not refer to web dictionaries. That would be uncomfortable. I have got a good pocket dictionary which to me, is more precious than my spouse. I always refer to it whenever I need the meaning of a word.

I used to keep a handy dictionary on my bedside but ever since we had DSL internet at home, I go to Wikipedia and Wiktionary for instant information.

yeah of course....for me english is not just a language but my passion,my soul and integrated part of my life and my persona.....dictionary is like the boat which helps you ti traverse the ocean of knowledge.....

I usally use dictionary when i meet up new words.
i do not think use online dictionary is the best way.
if for meet up new words,it maybe help!for sentences maybe not.in fact we can not trust the online dictinoaries,the grammar is bad,
try hard to learn and improve is the best way!!
