How do you manage your finance in these days of increasing cost

1)Reduce oily/fried foods that's good for health and for our Wallet! 2)Get a bicycle or walk for shorter distance that's again very good for health and for our Wallet! 3)Reduce entertainment expenses, satisfy yourself with cheap and best things. 4)Instead parking all the money with savings account open some fixed deposits for an affordable duration. 5)Budget and spend every month! Closely track the in/out of even smallest amount. 6)Well again one need to sacrifice your lifestyle but can keep it flexible depending on the requirements.

hello Deepika Mona, to tell you the truth i am very badly in shape financially as i had invested most of my savings in Mutual funds and also a bit in the stock market. To top it all i am a retired person and also invalid and on a wheelchair. I have to pay the salaries of two men who look after me and this is eating into my life savings. My bank balance has also dwindled and though i have a few bank FD`s the income is very meagre. The cost of medicines plus the cost of rising prices has also hit me hard.Budgetting is very difficult as i have no steady income. My brother who is in Canada sends me some money twice a year but it just about meets my expenses for a few months. Fortunately i am single otherwise if i had a family i do not know what i would have done. Any ideas?

it is very difficult. i did not invested a single pie in share. but these days as there are many speculations, we are keeping tight budget. trying to cut on expenses. we do not go out to dine so much now.

The same problem with me. I need to manage well my finance for it is hard to have nothing without the date of earnings. Sometimes my money lapse before payday. But I do like this, I'm going to prepare first the menu for the whole week and go to the market the after separately put the daily needs in an individual packs. About the money trying to pay off the bills and the rest is for another thing to spend. That was like that simple for me because I don't have much income to budget all the way down. Try to save.
