I Hate Avatars That Move!!!

Thats actually common, it affects the brain some how. Also the flashing stuff can cause people with a seizure disorder to have one. I don't mind the moving avatars, I think some of them are cute.

Well, I just hate that animated question mark icon for the "questions& answers" interest. It gives me a headache, I wish there was a way it can be changed. I like a few animated graphics, I use them sometimes but not the fast-moving ones. Some animated graphics can really be too distracting.

I don't mind them, except there was one where some guy was banging his head or something on the computer and then, he starts to become more and more bloody as he bangs his head or hands or whatever they were to a nub. I couldn't stand that one.

Yes I like them! I think they're cute!! I don't see anything wrong with them at all. Besides, it's not the avatar that makes the person but the person who makes the person. I'm going to be having a moving one at Christmas time, are you going to delete me then? I hope not but if you do then you do, nothing I can do about it.

Hey hey they dont bother me . I always wanted my defult pic to show many pics of mine , but who knows if i will ever work with it LOL. Sometimes, they make my eyes hurt that is about it . You would not like my myspace page it has many bright flashing stars . However I dont like the flashing xmas lights ! Have a good night !

I hate them. I find that they often distract you from what you try to read.

Since I answer almost everything from e mail I do not notice them very much. I liked that little girl, if it is one I am thinking of, cause she looked like my granddaughter. I have very few people I can identify by avatar, either.

Oh I was having second thoughts posting in here as well since I do have a moving avatar as well. I really do not bothered at all with having this animated avatars at all. I hope I did not trouble you from taking looking at my avatar.

I have to agree with you. They do tend to take your attention from the content of the post.

i don't hate animated avatars, but i admit that sometimes there are some animated avatars that are irritating--since they divert your attention. luckily, i never really got irked from seeing them before. :)] hope this finds you well--and i also hope that you will no longer have any problems with regard to avatar

I like mine! I couldn't put this whole verse here without it. It would be teeeeeeny tiiiiiny and no one could read it. To each his own!

For me, it depends on the avitar itself. If it is a very dizzying effect, it bothers me. A person on another forum I belong to has one of a "demon" type face (think the girl in The Exorcist" with its mouth grimacing and moving. That bothers me and I hope the person takes it down now that Halloween is over.

O dear. I love animated, moving avatars. Sorry they have got to you today. I actually can make photographs animated and I think it makes then look nice. You can see some that are tacky and look bad. My avatar did move, but when I uploaded it onto Mylot it stopped. Probably just as well if people do not like them. Maybe tomorow you will see them differently. Maybe your mood was off today. It is strange that we change all the time and see things differently also. Well take care and I will try not to put up creepy avatars today for you.

I agree with you. I don't like these moving things when they're wierd. No, it doesn't bother me as such. It's just creepy.

Rozie, it is like the avatars are possessed when they move. I do not know how to make mine move so I guess I am safe.

hi Rozie this is a year old but I still hate avatars that move, specially ones where the person moves twenty five times faster than anyone could move.

Ha!ha!ha! You are funny! But I understand you if that is how you feel about moving Aviatar. So you've deleted all those with moving Aviatar! Ha!ha!ha! It's your prerogative my dear. If it really bugs you then you have all the right to do it! On the other hand, I am amused with moving Aviatars. I find them cute and was looking for a way to have mine that way. Now with your post though, I changed my mind. I'm not gonna change into a moving Aviatar anymore. I don't want to bug anyone.

This is what we called "avatariphobia"...hehehe...I'm just joking. You said that you delete the person that using the moving avatar? This show that you are really scared toward this thing. For me, I dont really bother it because it's just an avatar only. Eventhough it looks very creepy, my heart quickly said that avatar is avatar.It can't do you any harm. However, everybody have their own way so I respect your opinion in this.

I don't really mind them sometimes it depends on the avatar I guess the one moving thing I do hate though are those smiley's on yahoo IM I HATE the smiley (the one that's just smiling) it's soo creepy all it does is smile then blink every now and then it freaks me out I tell my friends to not use it because it's just plain creepy I guess I would feel the same way about some avatars but I have not been unfortunate enough to have seen some creepy ones
