About abortion!!

I just have to put my though here because i can't rest my mind in peace. I am pro choice. I believe that people should decide what is best for themselves. There was a post earlier bashing at women who get abortion and I think it's really wrong to do soo. I understand that some people have a belief of what is wrong or right but at some point, we shouldn't be disrespectful to others just because they don't share the same belief as us. If women can't decide for theselves, what is the point about the whole human right thingy? I am just really disappointed that people are not being considerate to others.

I agree with you. If everyone paid attention to their own hearts and did what was best for their own families and loved ones and stopped trying to self-righteously control how others live, the world would be a much happier place. Unfortunately the people that protest and fight issues such as this which are none of their business at all, put so much time into this stuff which could be better spent on other more important things.

If only people were like you things will be better. I believe that it's not by accusing that you can persuade someone to change their mind. I just hate when someone consider the 1 bad apple with the others. Generalization is the worst thing to do. Putting the blame on someone rather then helping to solve it when help is needed..that's how I feel today's society works. Whar a rotten world we live in. Thx alot for your comment.

I agree with you women should choose whether or not to have an abortion. Sure killing is wrong but so is forcing a woman to go through an unwanted pregnancy.

I though i was the only one to think this way. 2 years ago, there was a girl who had a miscarriage but she did it intentionally..in the toilet. Like the unborn baby was in the toilet. I wonder what is with peopel these days. Since abortion is legal, why didn't she get it done? I'd rather know this person would go get an abortion then seeing the unborn baby be found in such way.

Well I too have an opposing opinion as yours but I would not insist on doing what I think is right for you and wrong for you. Well when it comes to this matters I guess I would have to say that people can become so passionately involved that they would have to say some negative things about your belief. So in this regard, I would have to disagree with you but no hurting words would come from me. I hope someday we would find a common ground where our beliefs would not clash anymore. Peace!

Indeed, I like your attitude. I think that's the way people should act. It's good to voice the opinion but flaming people who don't share the same point of view is simply silly. We are adults and act like one. thx alot!!

I respect other people's choices to have an abortion. I would never have an abortion myself. Sadly some ladies that have an abortion regret their decision to have one and some ladies get depressed years later. Imagine if something goes wrong in an abortion and a lady has trouble getting pregnant when she is older. If a baby is aborted and no amount of money will bring him or her back to life. If a lady is 100% sure fine but what is she is being pushed into having an abortion by her boyfriend. A teenage girl might be influenced by her parents. When she is in her late twenties she might regret having been pushed into having an abortion. Ladies that are pregnant can feel emotional due to the hormonal changes that happen. At 36 weeks pregnancy I found out I was going to have a spina bifida baby. I was offered an abortion and I said no way. My baby boy was born a month later at home and was taken to a special care baby unit for the first three weeks of his life. Ladies that find out earlier that they are expecting a disabled baby. One lady I know found out at 16 weeks pregnancy and was told she was having a monster and it would destroy her marriage. The hospital tried hard to convince her to abort but like me she said no.

I am glad you made the right decision. I would not consider any children who has abnormalities as monsters. They are still human beings. I did took biology class at university and most of the time, it's a wrong linkage of chromosome. Some has not enough or too much. This reminds me of an article I read. It's about an unborn child and the doctors also predicted that she would be mute, deaf, half paralized and blind. I think half of her body would be constantly in pain and she has to stay the rest of her life in the hospital. Till she grew up to 12 years old, she suffered alot. She could barely walk. Then this comes into question of what is the meaning in life. Her parents wanted to end her life because she could not have the hapiness which other have. The hospital and docs insisted to keep her on but she would live the rest of her life in hospital. They ended going to court. Such decisions aren't easy. Even i can't take a decision regarding this situation. When a child is different from others, the mother would be overprotective or find the child repulsive which is sad. One of my friend has a disfunction and her voice doesn't sound normal. Because of this, her mom despises her and treat her badly like calling her names and such. Thx alot for sharing your life experience.

I think you are too tired to understand my point. You call women who make abortions as killers and murderers. So I guess that you consider embryo as a form of life. On the other hand, I think you might not be different from a killer as well. Because you would also kill a life form. Do you understand what i mean?Anyway, you have your own point of view and i have my own. I am not the type to force someone to agree with me. you have the right to think whatever you want. You can think they are killers, you can feel racism against a country, you can dislike anything you want. But you should keep it for yourself. You can always go through your opinion without being direct. That is my point!! So I think that people who point someone with the finger and call them with names have no manners. That is what i meant. I won't point my finger at someone or on this site and call a group of people killers, yellow, retarded, etc. I went to your profile and it says you are 41. Your age should show more wisdom than this. have a goodnight

Well I guess you seem to be taking it a litle personal....you even talked about my age lol! But you're right in anyway; we're here to express our opinions and ideas and those are mine. And if you'd like me to define "murderers and killers", I would say its simple: somebody who kills. And in the context of abortion, I would still say those women who engaged in such act are murderers because they take lives which they are not entitled to...moreso that its their own flesh and blood. I am not a racist (which you repeatedly accused on me). I am just commenting that abortion is killing; some forms of murder. Again I'd like to point out that those example you were given before like soldiers killing people, stepping into bugs w/o knowing, killing animals for meat are totally beside the point. Its in a different situation and I guess they are not as serious as killing an innocent unborn child. And one thing, you cannot make an excuse of making abortion thing ok by citing those examples. By the way thanks for making time to go to my profile....it sounds a little important on me. I appreciate it. Well I don't have to pretend having all the wisdom in the world but one thing am sure of is that I have moral wisdom....I can deferintiate right from wrong in a moral context and not to equate wrong deeds like commiting abortion w/ just merely killing ants/bugs and some insects or even killing animals for meat as "murder".

US soldiers, stepping on a bug...and even that vegetarian diet I guess has nothing to do w/ the discussion (am sorry). My point has been centered on the abortion topic and those I guess are basically beside the point. What we are discussing here is the act of abortion ( the killing of the unborn child) w/c I strongly disagree on. Anmd I was just expressing my ideas and my astonishment as well (maybe) on the passiveness and even condoling act of saying "be considerate" hence my previous comment. I can still comment on this but right now my eyes seems to drop already....so sleepy by now. Good night!
