i know it is very hard question to be answered by anyone.but anil kumble declared his retirement suddenly.as of now amit mishra has performed quite nicely against australia in the recent series but there are few options left for the place of legendary leg spinner--called jumbo.piyush chawala is also good option and he is also leg spinner and young and also bats well but only problem with him is he can't bowl leg spinners well but he does bowl googly nicely.other option is pragyan ojha--he has got his chance.he had done well.another option is murali kartik --he is experienced player but haven't got many chances but when he gets chance he performs well.who will be your choice for anil kumble??

I think it is a tall order for any spinner to replace Anil Kumble. He was a class act and a match winner. This does open up a window for the likes of Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ojha and Piyush Chawla, but I guess these are not yet finished products. They are all products very much in the making.
Amit Mishra has been around for some time and has impeccable temperament for a leggie. Piyush is still young and has delightful usage of the flight for a leggie. Pragyan Ojha to me seems more a containing option rather than a wicket taking one, so might be fitter in the ODI and T20 formats of the game.
All in all I do not yet see a clear replacement emerging from the current pack, though this is a tremendous opportunity for the youngsters to step upto the plate.
Cheers!

Well, it is a difficult question to answer............ I think the battle will be between amit mishra and piyush chawla......... Since Amit Mishra impressed in his very match against the mighty australians, I think Mishra would be the exact replacement for Anil Kumble.........
HAPPY MYLOTTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think Piyush Chawla is a replacement for Anil Kumble, he still has to play a lot of domestic cricket before he is ready for International cricket, I dont understand why these under 19 players get a chance so easily, there are players like Amit Mishra and Murali Karthik who have been performing in the domestic cricket for many years and they surely devserve a chance ahead of Piyush Chawla.
