Many people think that game is not a good thing especially to the young. They think playing the game saps their will to make progress. But as I know, someone who has a good school performance also have a good game skills. They play game very well and professionally.Do you think game can improve intelligence?Or think that is a thing shouldn't let the youth touch it?How should we regard the gaming?

Hi there! For me I think it depends on the concept of the game. Games that requires good vocabulary can help improve intelligence. Like problem solving games, crossword puzzles and word twisters. Games that have timers in order to win or solve the problem can improve the mind's thinking speed. It's actually ok for children to play games as long as it is in moderation. And after studying and doing their assignments. Parents must still control their children's playing time and schedule so that they wouldn't spend all day long playing only. Ciao!

Yeah,I think I overlook the kind of the game. Not all games can improve our intelligence just like your said.I think how to guide the youth to choose the proper game is also very important.

For me i think some aspects of a game can actually improve how our mind works. But it really depends on the person for your example its good but if we play games more than we study then it would not benefit us. Im a gamer and im good in school but im not really intellegent but im competetive now because of playing games on the computer and on the court(basketball).

I think you have a good treatment with the gaming. If we handle the gaming and study properly.I think gaming is good for our intelligence and also for our study. So it's a benign cycle.I think you will get this and do better.Thank you for your response.

Hi there Tisty! I believe that with proper information and guidance, computer games can be very educational. I think it's one reason why my son is already a fast reader now. It's just important that an adult will be there to guide the child and explain different things about the game.

Yes,I think you are right.I strongly agree with your opinion of 'proper information and guidance'.I hear many negative reports of gaming coz some children haven't a proper guidance. With your guidance,I think your son will be more clever and have a proper treatment with the gaming.Thank for your response.

Gaming can improve concentration and intelligence. Game is not just for fun but a puzzle to be solved and no one knows the answer what happens in the end? so I feel its kind of puzzle to solve which increases concentration and intelligence.

Absolutely, games can improve intelligence and also improves the concentration power towards what we are doing right now.... When you take chess, it helps to tackle the opponent mind, this will be helpful, when you are working in another company..... When you take caroms, it helps to increase the concentration power, so that you will not be distracted from your work..... So, games can definitely improve our intelligence.....

Just as a coin, everything have two faces : one +ve and other -ve. It is rotally dependent on us that which way we choose. If we choose the correct path, we can use the opportuanity to our benefitt and thus come out strong having learned something. But, if we opt the wrong path, we may be in trouble and this we will realise only after we have fallen into a deep ditch from where return is quite difficult. Similarly, there are many types of games available. If we choose the games which would enhance our analytical thinking and shrpen our refexes, such as strategy games, mythology games, mission games, etc. These games can benefit us. But, if we opt for cheap and vulgar games or other rustic stuff available, it will definately degrade our personality and we will turn out a different person but in a negitive sense... I strongly believe that the production of such games must be banned for the better good of the people of the world so that they can concentrate more on their obligations and duties and come out as a bright star in the croud of millions!!!!!!!

It really depends on what game you allow them to play. If it does not interfere with their studies, then fine..time management is also important..There should always be time for everything - studies, play, rest..
