Dehydrated skin is the one, which lacks of water in the body.
The body needs water and it looks pale and dull in the insufficiency of it.
I heard drinking coconut water is very useful for dehydrate skin..
What about your ideas.?

Drinking pop and coffee and tea depletes the body of needed water. Most coffee and teas act as a diuretics and flush the needed water out of the body so it is best to limit the amount of them that you drink. I use tea especially when I have fluid retention and it works well. I have never heard of coconut water before today where would one purchase this water from or do you mix it yourself? Smoking can also dehydrate the skin. It is best to moisturize the outside as well as drink nourishing drinks for the inside.

in my place i can buy coconut water but its not that fresh, i think it has preservatives thats why im nt taking it as an alternative
fresh coconut has no artificial additives and contains significant amount of electrolytes.

After I take a bath, I apply OLIVE OIL in my entire body. Olive Oil is reach in vitamin E that would revitalize and rejuvenate your skin. Use daily for better result. Also apply it before going to bed because it makes your skin supple too. And next to that, drink plenty of water. I used that therapy and it really worked!^^,

To me I would just drink a lot of water. As we all know we must drink at least eight glasses of water every day. If you can't swallow plain water you can always mix some fruit juice so that you can have a variety of drinks to have. I am not fond of drinking plain water too. Usually I will make for myself orange juice using the cordial mix. Other than that I would drink soy bean milk. I would also drink hot cocoa and carbonated water sometimes.
Whatever liquid you are drinking, make sure it accumulates to 8 glasses per day and I think this amount would be sufficient to treat your dehydrated skin. And yes, you can always apply skin moisturizer to your skin. I am using body lotion to make my skin smooth and supple. I suggest you give yourself a try. Using baby lotion like Johnson & Johnson's is the best choice for me. It's up to you to decide for yourself.

yes moisturizers and treatments claiming to alleviate dry skin
but i think there is some changes in our lifestyle and environment just to be able to correct dry skin.
fortunately, dehydration is easily treated and very temporary
thanks for those wonderful ideas

Whenever I feel that my skin becomes dehydrated I just drink a lot of water and less on salty and sweet foods. I also apply alot of lotion to moisturized my skin. I also add a lot of green and leafy vegetables and fruits to help my skin hydrated.

Hello Grace030174
Well my good friend, aslanlight, always recommends coconut oil for cooking with as she suffered a lot with dry skin and since using coconut oil to cook with she now has great skin. I would also recommend covering your body with baby oil as soon as you get out of the bath or shower and before you dry your body as it will absorb better. You can also add baby oil to your bath as that helps a lot too.
