Is ebay safe?

Yes I think ebay is sfe I have used for a number of years withno problems. The one time I bought an item and it did not turn up I asked for a refund and I recieved my money back. You just have to be a little bit careful on who you buy from.

I believe that ebay is extremely safe. Just be sure that the person you are buying from has a good feedback record. 100% is obviously the best, but I have purchased from people with 98% before and there were no problems. I just recently spent $400+ for a Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit and everything came just as promised. The person I bought the Wii from had a 100% feedback and the person I bought the Wii Fit from had a 98.7% feedback. Just be sure to read the feedback responses to see "why" someone has less than a 100%. Sometimes it is just a matter of miscommunication between the two people. ONLY PURCHASE VIA PAYPAL. That is the best way to insure that the person is legit.

Ebay is very safe. Of course you are still dealing with individuals. So you will want to look at their feedback. If you are bidding from someone who has a 100 percent positive feedback, I would have no fears at all. If there feedback isn't 100 percent you will want to read the feedback left by others and see what kind of issues that they had. You may want to do this anyway. You will want to pay through pay pal since it is such a large amount of money. That way you will be somewhat insured. Hope this helps. Have a great day!

I have shopped on ebay for a number of years and never had a problem with it, I tend to check the sellers feedback first just to see how many negatives they have had and what for and I go from that. I must say though that I would never spend a huge amount of money on there, not only because of the trust factor but also the guarantees that sellers give with the larger purchases. If you are going to spend that much on ebay you should look to see what they will offer you if something goes wrong, will they replace it, refund it? How will they deliver it and what if it gets lost, will you lose out? because some sellers do not take responsibility for items lost in the postal system. I would look into it all first before you commit to buy.

hello my fellow myLotter, i think it is safe to buy from ebay especially if you are paying via paypal because you can request a refund for your money back. i had to do this once the whole time i've used ebay. i just purchased an xbox 360 for 132 dollars. i also purchased a warranty for 17 dollars it is good for a year. so there are many ways to insure yourself. i hope i have helped you in anyway. happy posting!
