retirement

This is a very difficult question but let me try. The budget you are currently working on how will it change in retirement? You will have house payment? Car payment? etc... then you look at what changes like extra costs with your free time. Then subtract all the things you currently use but wont need then. Clothing and gasoline costs should decrease but medical costs may increase. Once you make these predictions you will have a retirement budget that you can make assumptions on also your savings for retirement number can come out of your necessary number for income.
