Yes, he will be going to the white house. The lines are long in record numbers to vote. The bad weather in some states is not keeping voters from voting either. Those that might not have voted before will be the first to vote this year for the presidency. Obama is like a household name and they want a new face for president this time around. Not saying that McCain in not a good choice but he is to much like Bush for a lot voters. If they had to vote for McCain them might not even vote at all. But where Obama is concerned they are out to vote for him. So your right he is in the white house. Even before it has been announced on tv. He is already in the white house.

We can only hope that he does not. If he does, the hard working American middle class is truly screwed...

Well, it seems as if your post was a little prophetic. I am glad that Obama is going to the Whitehouse and glad too that the election is over. I know that even those who are disappointed that McCain did not win can agree with the relief at having the election, the robo calls and scary emails, the upsetting political discussions, etc. over... Isn't it wonderful. Now, those who were working for the various campaigns for all of the contests and races and the reporters and announcers and photographers are going to be able to get some much needed rest, spend a little time with their families and actually have a life. And those who won will have to start mobilizing to do their new jobs... God help them all... the President, the Vice President, the Cabinent, the Senators and Assembly Federal and for all States as well, the City Counselmen, the Mayors, the Trustees and Board Members, the Judges, the District Attornies, and all of the other people who will assume their place amoung those who serve the people in government... And God help us in this Nation and in all of the World to work together to make this planet a better place to live in for all our relations... for all peoples.

apart from their names - Obama vs. McCain.. i know nothing about these two people, and i dont bother myself to find out about them, either).. but yesterday in our local news.. they showed 'last minute efforts and strong support' Obama is getting from the US top celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Bruce 'The Boss' Springsteen, Jayzee, PuffDiddy, SarahJessicaParker... seems like he's the real favourite to win the seat.. If he does get elected, i just hope that he will become the leader he said he would be...

If Obama goes to white house I will be very much happy. Because he is a black American. I would be more happy if his ancestors were slaves.Yet obama is going to make history. It was beyond our imgination that a black is American president.But I think if Obama becomes American president there may be change in US internal policy,no change will be happened in foreign policy. Because US foreign policy is controlled by Pentagon and CIA.Let us wait for the future.

Let's hope so!! I'm Canadian and even I hope Obama will make it to the White House.
