Buried or Cremated?

I lost my aunt at the weekend, and she has chosen to be cremated. I can't make my mind up whether I would want to be buried or cremated.
Why did cremation come about, was it because of lack of burial grounds or too much land being used.
What are your views on the subject?

I would rather my body given to science. If my organs could be donated to someone in need to help them live so be it. And if researchers can use my body to find cures and stuff....I want that to happen.

well i would want to be creamated i think because if you get buried you have to have all them bugs eating on you and stuff, the thought of it freaks me out.

That freaks me out too. It's awful to think about it. If you ever watched those CSI shows, you would get sick. I too want to be creameated. Besides, it is cost efficent and space saveing too.
