I can't wait for the holidays to come, the colors, the joy, the snow, songs etc etc etc. but moslty I can't wait to have all the courses (steaks special made, soups, cremes, potato recipies etc etc) and the deserts (too many to write them). Even the very thought of what will come makes me crazy . Are you in this same sitaution? what courses you can't waite to have? How about the deserts? You can talk about drinks too.

Well Christmas dinner for us will more then likely low budget, and restricted as far as how many people come over to visit also I will be doing the cooking this year to give my mother a break from cooking for at least 40 years!! and this will be the first time I have attempted to cook dinner for my family... I plan to do something very special with the main course being an oven broiled roast chicken with pine berry (pineapple / cranberry) stuffing, the side dishes being steamed asparagus, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables and finally for dessert a homemade baked apple pie but yeah... the economy is really going to hurt alot of people financially so there will be more then quite a few familys that will need to reconfigure there plans for the holiday if they want it to be affordable
