What Are You Going To Do November The Fifth?

After tonight we should, hopefully we will have a President elect. For some here on MyLot your life has been this election. There are some that actually believe it is their mission to make anyone's life here on MyLot a living he11 if they choose not to side with them. Of course these individuals either do not have a life or are paid by an organization to do what they do. To some MyLot is just a place to vent their gripes and issues they see in the world, so I believe these individuals will stay because their mission is not to affect just an election but to change minds.
So after this election is over are you over?

I Hate Politics. So I am hoping to move on to a different subject tomorrow. Radio controlled sailboats or photography or cooking or anything else. I would also like to build my star rating back up. And maybe do some posting on my blog, which has been neglected for months.

I would also like to build my star rating back up, fat chance of that. I tried that one time, and my star never went up. I left politics on time and responded only to the soft ball discussion like do you wear a watch. After a week of my star rating not moving I said to heck with it. At one time if you can believe it I had a nice big red star.

Oh I believe it. I had an 8 when I crossed the 100 mark. Then I started posting in Politics and it dropped like a rock.

He is taking us to Charlie Brown. I love that place. Mom is going with us. He always invites her, too. I love that about him. Pray hard for tonight!!!

No, I will still be here. I will remain to continue to express my opinions as well as to seek out information - to learn from others. Regardless of the outcome of the election, my life will go on - I may breathe a sign of relief, or I may be more worried about the future of our country - but life will go on.

Let's just pray that there is not violence resulting from the outcome.

Nope you are stuck with me. Politics is a 24/7, 365 thing for me.

I will stay here. :) It never even occurred to me to ever leave myLot! :) That thought would never cross my mind! :) I will NEED to be here in the days and weeks following the Election to get all of the differing viewpoints and opinions! :) So, myLot will become even MORE important to me tomorrow and so on! :)

Well you are like me, MyLot lets you express the issues that you fell are very important. I just wonder about those that have made their very existences here on MyLot to attack the candidate their guy is running against. Will they stay, or will they go?

I am still pretty new to myLot, so I won't be going anywhere. I will probably be logging in on November 5th just to see what everyone's responses are to whomever the winning candidate turns out to be. There is still a possibility that we won't even know who the winner is on November the 5th. It could still be so close that recounts could be demanded, or fraudulent voting may have occurred, we still don't know. I will be "tuning" in to myLot and adding my "2 cents worth" about all of it as well.

If Obama becomes president I'll be too busy trying to get my husband out of his military contract so we can leave the country...lol, just kidding! But really we are unsure if he will still have a job if Obama is elected...
I will have to stay away from mylot for a while in order to catch up with my work. Working from home I tend to get side tracked. I've been too interested in the news and discussions here that I can't seem to get anything else done. Today I'm too upset about what the outcome will be to even do any work. Mostly because of the thousands of military members who's votes will not be counted because they didn't get their forms in time. This happens every election and it makes me sick. My husband is greatful he was home to actually vote.
But I don't think I could leave Mylot completely. I always take a break for a while but end up back. However I will be able to improve my star rating because I will no longer be in the political section. I'm going back to the feel good discussions that I use to come here for that were to de-stress.

I'll be here, I'm Canadian, so, I don't have the vested interest my US friends do. So, it's not on my agenda much. It's interesting though, I'll be glad when it's no big deal when a black man becomes president.

I will be making a speech to a bunch of UMass students who are in an introductory public health class. That's my only real plan tomorrow. I have to catch up on nanoramo, I'm really behind. I was supposed to be at 6668, I'm just over 1000 because I thought the election was more important.

I'll most likely be here still. I do plan on starting to collect that kindling for the fire we should all be lighting to hold the winner's feet to for the next four years, no matter who that is.

I've been posting on mylot for quite a while and, no, I have no plans to stop posting after tonight. I may not post as much on the political board but I'll always be around.

That is so true, there are some that posted only in politics. But if the election does not go the way they want, I am sure they will be the first to come here and complain. I am glad the election is over, we need to talk about something else for a change.

Hi gewcew. I am not in the US and Noveber the 5th is not the election day for me.
so I am still here on mylot and doing everything usual But it's still a special day coz it's my boufriend's birthday, lol. Yeah, I know that so many Americans have been so excited and some of them get restless about who is gonna be the new host of the whitehouse. I am also eager to know who finally wins, though it's not that important but they do have different policies towards our country. Just wait and see:D

It depends on who wins. If Obama is elected, I'm thinking about quitting my two jobs and giving up my citizenship so I can go to Mexico and walk across the border and get everything for free.

Nope, I will still be here. I am sorry if my interest in politics and our government has offended you, but I will continue to show interest in it and yes I will continue to discuss it. I am sorry, but I can't help but think that this is important.
As far as what I will do today, I will continue to find discussions that interest me, do laundry, and finish getting my truck ready to go back to work. Who knows I might even ride one of my horses later.

I'm not sure what I will do or how I will feel. I just know right now, I feel like a heavy load has been relieved now that I have voted. I have done my part, now it's just time to wait and see who America chooses. But I'm so glad the campaigning is over.
