I am debating on whether I should get presents for our two dogs for christmas. If i have the extra money, i'm thinking about getting them dog beds, a couple chew toys, and some large soup bones from the butcher. So do you buy presents to celebrate the holiday for your dogs/animal?

Of course. Each of my dogs get one thing that they "need", such as a new collar, and then they get one thing that they don't need (new toy), and then something they can eat- which is usually their favorite lol
I even buy gifts for the dogs owned by other members of my family- usually I get them a new dog bed and a bone.

Yes I get my animals presents for christmas, and a few of the animals I get presents for can actually open the presents themselves. I normally get toys or treats as presents but a doggy bed sounds like a great idea. Animals are part of the family too and they deserve to get a present so that they feel like part of the family. MY cat likes to get involved and chew up the paper as we are unwrapping. Hope your pet has a great holiday as well as you...

Hi tlb! Of course I buy presents for my kittys! I always
have bought presents for my cats! I even wrap them too!
It is so fun to see them tearing at the packages! They
have so much fun trying to open their gifts just like
we do! They especially go crazy for their catnip toys!
I buy them toys, new collars and whatever else I can
think of. I am thinking about getting them a nice big
scratching post so that they leave the furniture alone!

We got our puppy last September and she got a gift from every member of the family. She is spoiled! And this year, it happens that her birthday falls on the same day as my mom's. And it seemed like more attention was focused on her than on my mom's. You could tell because most of the pictures taken were of her than of the family or my mom.
