Are Friendships really forever?

In Life, people come and go. Jobs come and go. Money comes and goes, but do friendships really last forever? This is something i have been thinking on a lot lately. I have recently gone through one of the hardest separations i have ever had to deal with and it was not a husband wife separation, but a separation from a church. My husband and i had been attending a specific church for a little more than 2 years, but then my husband told me one day that God had been dealing with him about going to another church, and me being the wife that i am decided that with my husband being the head of our household, i needed to support him in this decision. we have been going to this new church, but i am not very comfortable there yet. I have not made any friends there. All of my friends are back at our previous church, but i don't get to see them anymore and i rarely get to talk them, but i really feel like they are my true friends. In dealing with this situation, i have questioned do friendships really last forever?
