who should take up the household work in family?

Yeah, I would agree. That's my ideal too. I could earn but my husband should be the primary breadwinner. Why? Well, for one thing, guys are not really generally ideal for the home. Everything is quite different with the woman's touch. Men would just clean up to be clean, while women are known to really clean to the dot. On the other hand, women can work too, like men, but in order to sustain a family, people need overtime jobs part time jobs etc, so that would be tough for women most especially if they have kids, who's to take care of the kids right? It wouldn't be fair for the kids to be taken care by the nanny the whole day, right? So there you go, I think the wife should be in charge of the house as the primary homemaker and the secondary breadwinner, on the other hand the husband should be the primary breadwinner and help around the house too as the secondary homemaker. In that way, there wouldn't be confusion or arguments. It's just sad though that these days, it seems that more men are staying at home and women are getting the jobs. The family just isn't right if it's that way. I hope my family wouldn't be like that.

if they both work i think they both should help in the house. if just the man works i think the house is the woman's responsibility. it still wouldn't hurt the man help every once in awhile. he should always let her know he appreciates her.
