Do you own a LG Chocolate Flip Phone? What are your reviews? I have read a lot of bad feedback after researching the phone melting at it's charging port. Sometimes when the charger is plugged in, the phone wont charge, unless you wiggle the charger plug until the phone starts charging again and then don't move it until it is done. I have read where the inside of the charging port has come right out when removing the charger cord from the phone. Has anyone else had any problems with the charging of the LG Chocolate Flip Phone? Any other problems at all? What is your opinion of the LG Chocolate Flip Phone? I have read that some carriers have entirely discontinued marketing this phone due to the fact that it is highly faulty and because they can't get replacement parts. What's your view?

YES YES YES i just encountered this problem and i am not very happy, because i just got this phone from a family member, and i dont know when the warranty expires(d) and do NOT try to fix this, i tried and it worked twice, its because when you plug in the data cable or charger cord, the port you are pluggin it into is simply just another chip, which plugs into your phone. there are wires in the back that just touch other wires to create a circuit. the chip that my cable has plugged into has fell out, and i am still waiting for a response from verizon....overall i would have to say this phone is VERy cheaply creat3d and put together

Hi Bella, you have a great point. Would be nice to see LG replace the phone. A whole lot easier than a law suit but with as many complaints as I alone have heard of, that probably wouldn't be a bad idea. I wonder how many of those they were selling daily?

I bought this phone and after a year it will not take a charge. Bought new battery and even after charging for 3 days only 2 bars showed. Phone works with 2 bars, the charging light never goes off and the battery has never been fully charged. I believe that there is a manufacturers defect in material and or labor and that LG should replace these phones. Anyone want to join in a Class Action lawsuit on this.

Hey, same thing has happened to me.. I have always had to wiggle and play around with the charger just to get it to work... Now, the charger doesn't work anymore (as of today), and the metal plate has fallen off... do they replace chargers, or would I have to purchase a new one?

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PHONE!
The entire sentence about the phone charging and the charger port coming right out just happened to me this week, came right out.
So I go to the phone store because it's still under a 1 year warranty and they tell me that they ran a test on my phone and determined the phone is 'water damaged' and voided the warranty... not going to fix it.
So Next I call LG, argue with them for half an hour on how my phone isn't water damaged its just a charger port that came out.. not going to fix it because its been declared 'water damaged' warranty is waived.

Sorry, EvrWonder, I don't have one of those phones. Wish I could be more helpful. I have only had the phone I have now for less than a week.... I have so much to learn about mine.

Thank you for your response. The manual is a great place to start but also to your carriers website to learn more as they usually have the model of the phones that they promote as well as the manual online. Good Luck!

I never have a LG phone, and I don't like it either. As to the appearance, it is not as beautiful as SAMSUNG; As to function, it is far more behind NOKIA. I don't know other products of LG. Yet talking about LG cell phone, it's nothing special compare to other cell phone brand. And as a chinese, LG cell share little market of cell phone in China. What I feel about LG cell phone is Less highlight, expensive comparatively. Sorry If you are a LG's fan.

Thank you for your comment. Very much appreciated. I am not exactly an LG fan. I use SAMSUNG myself.
