are you thankfull....?

That is great, ladybug..I just started something that is similar for the month of Nov. I have this little pumpkin made out of wicker that I have on my kitchen table. Inside it, I have placed little notes that have different questions on it, like "what made you happy today?" or "what made you sad?" But what I have the most of is "what are you thankful for?" And when we sit down to eat, each person gets to draw out one, and answer the question. My son got the thankful one this morning, unfortunately he was not having a good morning, so I had to help him some, but I think by the time this month is over, everyone, at least once a day, will be saying what they are thankful for..

hi there. you have a good attitude there. i really do believe in always giving thanks IN every circumstance. even the BIble says this in 1 thessalonians 5:17-18 "pray continually, give thanks IN all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." it even says here that we give thanks IN all circumstance. meaning let give thanks not only during blessing time but also in hardship because God is there to help us through. it doesnt mean that we will give thanks FOR the bad things but IN the midst of the bad things that happen to us, we are still grateful because we are able to surpass it because God helped us.

Each day is a blessing by itself. Imagine having given another day by the Lord each day! This is a blessing! Suppose you did not wake up anymore and has no more breath to see the sun shine. So as I open my eyes each morning, the first words I utter are "Thank you Lord for the blessing of a new day!" And every new day consists of a lot of things around me that worth being thanked for. I have a wonderful family, a loving husband and a doting son. I own a comfortable house and a brand new car. I have a good paying job and so does my hubby and my son. Our life is well provided and we practically could buy all our needs and even wants. Yes there are trials in life but through all these I still have to thank God because that gives me reason to depend and trust on Him even more. And despite the problems that come my way...there is God who sees me through and help me emerge as a better person. Life is hard but God has ways of making it easy for me. Oh I have a lot to thank for. I have so many blessings to count. I need not dwell on the negative because that positive is what will make my day happy and bright. Yes you are right positve attracts positive and negative attracts negative. This is the reason why I love looking at the positive things in my life. That way all the positive things keep on pouring and I thank God for this blessing! Have a blissful day!Cheers!

YES... I always do that! The first thing I do every time I wake up is to PRAY and thank God for giving me another day to live and ask for His guidance to be able to spend my whole day worth of His blessings. And everytime I experience good things in this life... I THANK GOD and even those problems I do face... I still thank God for all of those trials are instruments of Him to make me stronger in my faith. :)
