im not happy that he won because he wants outsourced jobs to be back in the US like for example programming and call centers... as if Americans have the patience to be working in a call center...

US companies would still want to outsource their manpower to cut down on costs... now considering the fact that obama wants to have all outsourced jobs back to the US, i just could not imagine what will happen to those companies paying a bigger amount of salary to an american and in turn would get less manpower in the end...

it,s not just for me it,s for us all as a people we are american it,s time for change for us all we been opressed enough as a people it,s time for healing from the past at the same time obama made history by being the first half black and half white to be president so it,s for you as well it,s a time to love our neighbor as we love ourself.put the past behind us we are moving toward the future i don,t know how much longer i have on this earth but i want to spend it getting to know as many whites and hispanic and mexican and blacks as i can because they all are my brother and sisters we are one nation under god and together we are one people when we unite as one and we are powerful as a american people.

I hope that he will bring the change he promised. USA deserves a better administration than Bushes. It's going to be difficult for him but I am confident that if he receives co-operation from others, he will be able to achieve his dream.

I like many people around the world and especially in the USA have spent many hours researching the candidates and spent the last month watching in complete disbelief at what was going to happen. Barrack Obama becoming president proves that our nation knows what is important. I think beyond all the policies Obama wants to set in motion, he brings something that our nation hasn't seen in a very long time, HOPE, DEDICATION, UNITY.
Over the past few months, I have spent time discussing the importance of this election with my kids. It became apparent early on for me that Obama would win this election. I watched his speech after being elected and was touched. But it wasn't until my almost 5 year old daughter got out of bed this morning and asked me if Barrack Obama won. It hit me then, the magnatitude of this and what it must mean to so many people especially those of African American decent.
I don't know that Obama will be able to accomplish all the tasks that lie ahead of him. It is a major undertaking. I do know that he will do his best and we will be a better nation because of him.
YES WE CAN!!!
***The stimulus check spoke of earlier in this discussion is an energy relief check that he is proposing to help offset the cost of heating bills this winter. If put into action, families will receive $1000 and single people will receive $500.
