If You Could Spend a Holiday Overseas, Where would it be and why?

As for me, i would want to go to Australia.
I heard the beaches are very beautiful there. I almost salivated on my keyboard while writing articles about the beachside hotels in the Gold Coast. The one I want to visit is Currumbin Sands on the Beach. Judging from what I read, it seems to be a very good hotel with the beach right in front of it.
How about you?

Very nice choice Seishiro! I am actually from the Gold Coast so can assure you that it is indeed a beautiful place! Currumbin especially is very unique with a lovely beach, rock pools further inland and a famous bird sanctuary. If I had a chance to go anywhere at all for a holiday right now I would probably pick Australia also as I haven't been home for some years now. If this was not possible then anywhere with beaches would suit me just fine!

Hi James! Yeah, I've been looking at pictures of Currumbin in the net and I'm sure I made the right choice. I think I'll save up for that vacation by the time I'm done with my pre-existing plans. If I get lucky, I might save up a lot to go on a holiday for entire year visiting places of interest including your home country.
Cheers~

I think all countries have their interesting spots and places. Eyy, if I've the resources I'd go and visit all of them Too bad we don't have that kind of luxury, not even the rich and famous.
Happy mylotting! Thanks for responding!

I love Australia and it is my second favorite country that I have been to. So far I haven't been to South America so I would love to go there most of all. Likely airports I could fly into are Buenos Aires, Santiago, Rio de Janeiro or Lima. I would like to independently tour round and see lots of places on my trip. It isn't easy to fly to where I dream about going to most of all. It is Cartagena de Indies on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. If I went there I would spend a few days seeing its historic cities, then I would fly out to San Andres Island and Providence Island to enjoy being on palm fringed beaches. Next I would fly to Panama and see the canal, then go to Costa Rica to see the cloud forests and lastly go to Nicaragua to see the historic towns and stunning islands, one in the middle of a lake and Little Corn Island in the Caribbean Sea. I would do that trip to enjoy the history, wildlife and practice the Spanish that I am learning.

Of course, if you're up for some history, Europe will always be the best choice especially the Roman provinces of Spain, France and Italy. You can also add in the Vatican if you want to.
Paris is romantic. Yeah, I'd wanna go there someday too and dine in the restaurant on top of the Eiffel Tower.

Oooh I'd love to go to Japan or to Europe but it would be too cold over there. i don't mind buying winter coats and boots to keep me warm, but it seems like such a waste to just wear it once for a holiday abroad and then keep it in my closet again. I think I'd rather go to a less cold country. Maybe Hong Kong or Guam. I think I'll choose Hong Kong for the food. Plus, I can easily cross over to Macau and get lucky at the casinos! :)
