I left my last job because I never used to get on with the boss. When I first started there it was good fun, everyone had a laugh and was friendly. My boss had her superior working there at the time so she wasn't too bad but after he left she was promoted and I think the power went to her head. She was so bossy snapping orders and treating the staff as if they were daft. I wasn't too bothered though as the job was just a stop gap...I earned money to fund my driving lessons and the purchase of my car then I was off to find myself another job. Although this boss did fuel the speed at which I left.

If you are not satisfied with you job, you may change a new one. maybe for better promotion, maybe for better boss/management, maybe for better salary, maybe for complicated human retaionship,

Well, i have different reasons why i left my previous jobs... and here they are... First job for 7 years... left because i got an opportunity to work abroad... Work abroad for 2 years... did not renew contract because i wanted to have a baby... Job after giving birth 6 months... left because i was overworked and so underpaid transferred to work as a real estate agent... Real estate agent... left because my broker was cheating me of my commission... Current job... no plans of leaving yet because i love my flexible hours...

For some reason I love sharing why I left my last job. I am sure if you searched a lot of discussions I shared why, and always to be helpful or entertaining. My fiance and I met when I was still working at my last job, so the number one reason was to spend more time with him. I know that a lot of people will think I am over exaggerating and that may be why I wasn't hired at my last interview for another job... In any case, I worked almost 24 hour shifts if not just before or just after... When I say I'd go home at 1 AM and return back at 5 AM I wasn't kidding. The job was Banquet Server. When I first applied the woman told me that it wasn't going to be a lot of hours all the time, that it just depended on when they needed me. I think she made it seem that I might work AM and PM shifts, or should be available for both, but either way.. she never made me think I'd be working such long shifts. When I first started it wasn't long at all... maybe four hours.. then it got to the point that I started dating my fiance and so that 2 hours I had to sleep, turned into a half an hour... There was one time amongst many that he tried to convince me to quit, and I finally did after two weeks later, and another Begging that I quit. When I quit I didn't give a two weeks notice, and since I worked for high end hotels that might be why I can't get a job now.. In any case, I was already practically living in another county anyway... Now I live in the country and am very happy.. Money isn't everything. I hope you can find a better career for you!

I was laid off from my last job after a year of working there. The irony of it, is that I left a job to go there, because I thought it would be a better opportunity for advancement. Well the joke was on me, and hind sight tells me that I should have stayed where I was. Actually, the lady who called to tell me that there was an available job opening was the one who laid me off. That is a regret I have in switching jobs.

I left my previous job because I can no longer feel that I am learning from the experience and I am not even sure that I am indeed contributing to achieving my career goals. Anyways, I guess, you have to focus more on your career objective, and once you decipher things, you know where to go and what to do.

I left my first job in favor of the higher position and bigger remuneration offered by my present company to me. Of course this is the number one reason why many people leave their job. We are working to earn and hence if higher pay is offered to us we always consider it. But of course I also considered the environment, the kind of people I'd be working with, the location of the place and all the other circumstances surrounding the new job. When they all turned to be positive then I decided to leave my previous job. And I was not mistaken...I made the right move!

I was getting out from my previous job because I do want to start my own business. Before, I was in a telecommunication contractor. After five years there, then I think this business was still opened widely to enter. I have some friends from my relations for the last five years, and I think that is enough. I made my own business on January 2007, and I got seriously working it on July 2008, when I was made decision to out from my job. My previous positions is as the chief of planning department. And now I taking care my own business, as director. My company just get work that amount are IDR 500.000.000,- or equal to USD 50.000,- in this month. We must complete the work in about a week. And doing post in myLot is refreshing my stressing mind.

I left my old job because I was simply unhappy with it. I tried looking for other jobs with no luck but I managed to land a home-based job, with which I am still employed. I find it so enjoyable that I don't plan on seeking regular employment soon... perhaps in a few years though. I also had premonitions that the company I was previously employed in would shut down due to some setbacks, and I wasn't wrong. It's been 8 months after I left and now, the company did close down. Sad, sad...
