Is titanic is true lovestory

I think the story of the titanic giant ship sinking is real..but maybe the love just has been added to make the story become more interesting..maybe.

Ok so the story of the Titanic is true. The Titanic did sink in the 1800's. The love story depicted in the movie however there is no way to say it happened. Its just a great story with a bit of history in it.

I've seen this film lots of times and I even have it in my ipod. It has always touched my heart. They said it is based on facts. There was a documentary done where they interviewed the real Rose. I think she did fall in love with someone from the Titanic. I just don'y know if he was named Jack as well.LOL!

May be it will be just a story or dream but I personally feel that I was a real one.May be I am wrong..........

No. Its not a true love story. Its true there was a ship that size called titanic that sank. But hollywood has no way of knowing who was in love on it lmao.

I don't think so that it is a true love story. Actually to make the movie more interesting and to attract the viewers they added fictitious love story in the true titanic incident. And now what happened is people remembered the movie because of it's romantic tag not with the titanic accident where many lost their lives.

I love Titanic and it is a really good movie. It is good in part cause it takes a lot of its story ideas from past stories like shakespere so yeah. It has all the things that make a good love story and then in the end makes a really good movie. It also helps when you have a really sexy male character.

I have seen the movie Titanic several times and it is a really good movie even though it is a long movie and takes a long period of time to actually sit down and watch since it is like six hours long,and me and my mother watched it several times when I was a kid,and that was one of the movies we used to always watch together and it is a good love story,because it shows the love between Rose and Jack because you could tell they were in love,and the ending is very sad,especially since Rose had to let Jack go,and I wish that the ending would have been different,and that Jack would have been saved,and that is one of the few movies that I have seen with Leonardo Dicaprio that I actually liked.

Hi Olive4ever, I am not sure if the story TITANIC is true but I loved the movie, once I had seen it...Wonderful story, I thought...But I would never have let him go at the end!...hehe

The love story is fictional but what is happening around the young lovers aboard the Titanic is mostly true accounts of what happened. It is one of my favotite movies that I never tire of watching.

the storyline in general is based on fact... there was a ship named the titanic, it did crash, people did die because those in charge favored the rich and didnt have enough life rafts and so on... as for the love story it is true but not entirely you have to keep in mind it is Hollywood and they will embellish on anything lol
