did you vote, why or why not?

this is not a bashing discussion, I just want to see your views and everyone's opinion about there own reasons, i don't care about rude comments to others this is not what this is about. now to answer my own question....
no I did not vote because I was very undecided, it's a big decision and can be scary, what if you vote and it's the wrong person etc... but besides all of that if i were to vote i didn't have a ride.

I started to vote when I was 18 (the exact age for someone to vote) I decided to register to vote. I believe that we can practice our freedom by casting our vote.
And as a teacher it is a must to vote because here in our country teachers are responsible for watching and facilitationg people that are voting.
Furthermore, if you vote, you can feel that you are really a citizen of the country where you belong.Happy Mylotting!

I voted because despite knowing which way our state would go anyway on the President, there were a few propositions I cared about.
Despite that proposition 8 didn't go the way I wanted it to (the gay marriage one for those of you who don't live in California), I'm still glad I went out and voted. I'm even thinking about attending one of the protests if they'll have one closer to my home.
