Who is the best cook in your family?

I would have to say my dad! He loves to cook and he's always trying new things. Whenever I need help with some recipe I call him up and ask him, he likes to bake with my mom also! he makes a Kick A** homemade apple pie! I like to cook alot to and I think that's where I get it from, my mom cooks but not as much, she likes to bake a lot. I love to eat also, whenever I go to visit my dad and I go to the store and by things to try a new recipe or get stuff for grilling, we love to grill! Even in the winter, they have the grill on their deck and we always shovel off an area around it and cook! It's a blast!

Me! I'm the best cook in my family as there is only me in my family! I live by myself and I do my own cooking, I'm content with this. I don't like sweating it out in the kitchen for too long though. I would rather dig out a cheesecake from the fridge and pollute myself with that. Everyone has to indulge from time to time after all! Andrew

before it was my grandpa, unfortunately he has joined our creator. my grandma cannot really cook. everything gets burnt, probably because she almost always leaves the stove and after a few minutes she already forgets that she had something placed atop the stove. my mom cooks fairly well, though not as good as what grandpa used to make. with our busy lives, we only get to eat a home-cooked meal every weekends. we usually stock up on instant noodles, microwavable meals, and the list of a variety of take-out establishments.

My dad is the best cook in our family. I wish I could say that it is me but I didn't get that skill from him, my sister did. He usually cooks during dinner and sometimes, even if I want to skip dinner, I just can't because I love the food that he just prepared. My mother knows that it is a fact, my father is the better cook between the two of them. Maybe my father got his skill from my grandmother, who was also a good cook while she was still alive. Sometimes, I remember my grandma when my father cooks something that's very similar to her cooking . Anyway, my father's barbecue is the best!

Hi,danrunsfast,I am a student.I live with my family.There are 5 members in our family.My mother is only the cooker of my family.my mother cooks very well.We means all the members of my family enjoyed the food most which is cooked by my mother.sometimes my mother cooks very delicious food items.my mother is the best cooker of my family

I agree with you. My Grand ma is the best cook. Even though my mom cooks fairly well, when my grand mother is with us we insist our gran mother cook. I think it is because of the experiance they have. They would have cooke for their parents, brothers and sisters, and then time to cook for their husband and inlaws and then it is their time to cook for their kids. And as grand children, we all cherish on their experiance in cooking. My grandmother never measures any ingriedients. She does not check the quantity she mixes with any spoon or other measing jar. She just seems and throws it in the vessel, it cooks out to be a mouth watering dish. My grand mother cooks fish and few other dishes in earthen pots (pots made of clay). It adds additional taste to the dish. But I am so much away from my parents and gran parents. So missing all their dishes. And myself, an amatuer cook, trying different dishes each day to attain perfection. Thanks for reminding me of my grand mother and her cooking. Happy myLotting.

Even my grandmom is the best cook in the family.She makes tasty chicken briyani with ghee and served it with onion salad.When i was small she used to make lime pickles.The lime was plucked form a tree in our own yard.In the evenings she also prepared butter cakes and sweets which were very tasty.She also used to prepare tasty puddings.
