I think the Title of Greatest Invention of the 20 th century should go to Silicon Chip - The Microprocessor Chip which transformed Computing as well as lead to the subsequent emergence of World Wide Web , Internet as well as many of the Embedded devices we see today . Also,I am not sure about the Internal Combustion (IC) Engine .This is the Engine on which most of our modern day Automobiles and even trains run on Diesel and Petrol .
