Do you have to have your feet covered while sleeping?

Are the type who can not sleep comfortably if your feet are exposed from under the covers. I ask this because, I do not care if my feet get out, but husband has to have his feet covered. He will tuck so much of the sheet at the bottom to insure that those toesies do not escape, I on the other hand like to have enough cover to pull up over my shoulders, so we have a tug of war over the covers most nights

There is no way I can sleep if my feet are covered. It could be freezing in the room and I am all covered up with the blankets but if my feet are covered then I can't sleep, I feel like I can't breathe and it feels like my body temperature goes up. I can not sleep with socks on either. My brother and sister are the same way, I wonder why.

I find it comfortable with my feet exposed, I do not know why my husband just have to have his feet covered.

Yes I do. Even in the hot summer weather, when I have the rest of me uncovered, I still cover my feet. Just a wierd quirk of mine. Look t it this way, Stephen King put it well. If your feet are covered, then the monster who lives under your bed cannot reach up from underneath, grab your feet and pull you under.
Take that you monsters..you are not getting me, as long as my feet are covered.

When I get into bed I get totally covered but during the night from the waist down I have to be free to move around and the covers come off.

I sleep by myself since my bf doesnt live me with yet. We are planning on moviing in together in Febuary but I like to sleep withouth socks for some reason I just can't sleep when I have them on and then I like to lay in bed and life my legs up in the air until the blankets fall down against both sides of my legs and my feet and my mom says it looks kinda like i am in a cacoon but I cannot really sleep without covers on my feet.
