my husband loves when i cook for him. he likes it better than when we go to a restaurant. today is his birthday, so i'm going to cook him Chinese food. on the menu tonight is egg rolls, chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein, chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce on them. i am going to cook all this from scratch. normally for his birthday i also cook him a cake and decorate it really nice. we're in the process of moving and i already packed my cake pans. . . so i bought him a dairy queen ice cream cake instead.

Agree with your husband about food being cooked from someone you love being a zillion time better than one offered in a restaurant, your menu makes me feel hungry already. Happy birthday to your husband, enjoy the night.

Wow that is a lot of tasty food! Your husband is a lucky guy! My husband would probably ask for lasagna or something if it were his birthday. I get the same thing every year for my birthday, BBQ ribs because they are my favorite.
Do you have recipes?

I agreed home cooking is the best because you cooked them with the best ingredients that you have. Your menu prepared sounds so yummy - wished I could join in and have a feast with you. Have fun cooking all those and hope both of you have a great time eating them. Please covey my birthday wishes to your hubby.

I would love to be able to cook Chinese food. I only ever get this food from the take away. I am a good cook, but my rice sticks and it never tastes as good as the take aways.
Happy Birthday to your husband. You are a good wife to him. Getting him a cake and all was really nice. You must be very busy and tired also with moving house too. Well have a lovely day. That chinese food you are making sure sounds great. Enjoy!
