The New World Order

Not long ago it was the British Empire... the Brits ruled the world and that was just how it was gonna stay. But then the empire crumbled and the Americans rose up to be the numero uno country on the planet. Bigger, richer and stronger than the other guy two world wars cemented their place at the top of the tree. Even the Russians could not keep up with them and when communism failed it left the US as the only superpower nation on Earth.
Recently though both India and China have sent spaceships up. They are both nuclear powers and they both have 1 billion plus people rapidly coming to the fore on the world marketplace. They can't help but have an impact on the dynamic of the world.
With President Obama now in charge America will be taking a less aggressive tone in the world hopefully but still they are likely to find themselves as one of at least four major players now with Russia and it's oil joining India and China in playing a major role on the global stage.
Is it a case that the US domination is over?

The American dominance in the world will continue but it will be a milder and more respective one. Aggressiveness is not always the key especially if it is one of arrogance. If one read the bible he/she will see that God always make the mighty fall. To me it is not the fall that one fall but the lessons that you learn while falling so that you can build back as stronger and sturdier as before.
There are alot of assumption about Obama Barrack but one should remember that John McCain was not totally for George Bush Policy. My advice is that instead of judging and assuming let us see what Obama is all about. Remember campaign talk is just talk. When one goes and seat on the hot seat he/she sees something different.

The American dominance of the world will continue for now but it should not be taken for granted that it will last for a long time. I am happier with America as the dominant power over a country like Russia, Iran or China mind and so I hope it does not change any time soon. Already India, which was booming, is seeing other countries looking to take it's place in the heirachy such as the Phillipines. It is a very fluid place the world. One where half the countries thta exist today did not exist a century ago.

Yes I am from the UK and China from where I am sitting is looking very healthy indeed. The goverment here are a bunch of puppets they all need locked up. I love Chinese people. They work really hard and are good at it. I do not care if they rule or have a domination over UK and America. It will make a nice change. I do respect America though for what they have done. I did not like Bush and I do not like Gorden brown here in the UK. No wonder our countries are failing, they where run by idiots. (sorry if I have offended anyone though) (It is only an opinion).

Before China can be world dominant they have alot of internal problems that need to be fix. Maybe in a couple of years they can become world power but there is another country that people tends to forget which is climbing up the leader too which is not India nor China but one by the name of Brazil. They are also doing well.

I agree with you Hildas with regard to Gordon Clown. I don't like him at all. He has never won an election and stabbed Tony Blair in the back. I am also sick of paying so much in tax!!!

as you say,the new world order is changing .but now say india or china can be power country, too earlier.though the countries like china, india, russia or brazil got a better and quick improvement, the national strength are still behind USA.so in the coming years, development are still their major task.and USA still be dominant in the world.that's my take.
