What would Oprah's show have been like today if McCain had won?

She'd hadDr Oz or Suze Orman or her "favorite thing" on.

Yes, she would not have congratulated McCain/Pallin.

Oh I am sure it would have been a big pitty party.
Speaking of Oprah. I wonder what Obama is going to do for her. SHe was the one that pretty much put him on the map early in the primary by having him on her show and then going out to rallies with him. WOnder what she is going to get in return?

You do realize how rich and powerful she already is right? I don't think there's much even a president can give her in return...except for maybe a guest shot on her show during Sweeps Week.

I have seen the way she looks at him. Hmmm...and then of course, she might give herself credit for getting him in office...she does have a lot of influence. Great for the ego...and then there are those moments she will be spending in the White House.....

She could get him to appoint her as embassiter to a country or something. She does work in Africa where she has that school. Sure she has money. But maybe she wants a political appointment. Right now she has the power of knowing that if it was not for her Obama would not have had such a great chance. Especially during the primary when she had him on her show twice and then was at all those rallies.
She really thrust him into the spotlight.

Hmm I don't really like to see tv show hosts really showing their leanings so to speak, as a lot of her supporters could very well be upset with her over the top joy, after all a lot of mccain supporterws have supported her for years and i just think when you interview people on a serious level you are asking the questions on behalf of your viewers so to speak..i just think a good interviewer never lets her leaning be seen...I like Oprah and i guess she is excited but I think she could be a little more understanding to the supporters of hers that may be feeling a little down and scared at this point.

There was a time when Oprah might have been more considerate. She does not think she has to be because the white people in her audience and elsewhere practically worship her. Some years back on quite a few shows, she would come out the side entrance of her studio and there were people on both sides of where her arms were. And they would put out their hands to shake hands. She would not even look at them. Instead, she looked straight ahead and ran her hands through them like a white picket fence. She expects people to come her way. She no longer concerns herself with how people think of her or her show.

Honestly, I hate when celebrities gloat over something no one should care that they care about. I feel sorry for people who vote one way just because a celebrity does. I don't know any people who do that, but I'm sure they exist. She would not have had a pleasant show if McCain had won, but that would be OK with me. I never watch her anyway. lol

I do not watch Oprah, but my mother does. She uses her followers to get what she wants. Unfortunately, we have to put the blame on the followers, too. They worship her. I do not understand why.

I didn't see her show, but she has been a major supporter of Obama all along. She, like many people, are celebrating today.
If Obama would have lost, Oprah probably would have simply worn one of her typical outfits.

Lol. Oprah has lost ratings and influence because of her support for Obama and her snubbing of Palin. Soon Ellen will be number 1 in daytime talk. Oprah
is on her way out.
I do however believe she thinks she will get some type of appointment from Obama.
That will be one of the biggest jokes in modern history if it occurs.
