Obama is the junior United States Senator from Illinois and presidential nominee of the Democratic Party in the 2008 general election.According to documents from the Senate Historical Office, Obama is the fifth African-American Senator in history, and the only African-American currently in the Senate. Obama was elected Senator of Illinois in 1996. Four years later, he lost an election for a seat in the House of Representatives. Afterwards, he focused most of his energy on his roles as a Senator for his home state, and got re-elected in 2002. In 2004, Obama made a speech at the Democratic National Convention, becoming famous in the political world across the country. In November of 2004,he was elected Senator with a 70% majority. On February 10, 2007, Obama announce that he would run for the 2008 presidential election. His election platform focuses on ending the Iraq War and implementing a universal health care system.do you believe the president will win,or do you support the new one and to be a good president.

I don't support him. I wouldn't support him. I'm not looking foward to him being in office, but what can we do about it? Nothing.
Bush ran this country into the ground. McCain didn't stand a prayer. Most Americans would have elected Charles Manson into office rather than put another Republican in office for another 4 years.
