I'm feeling dizzy today and a little headache as last night I went to bed quite late. I have to finish some office job at home due to some urgency and I really hate to do it. Now in the office, I can't really open my eyes very well. And the important thing is I'm not in the straight mind and can't think very well to make a respond in MyLot discussion. Perhaps today my post will be lower than before. Have you ever feeling dizzy during office hour? What did you do to overcome it?

So sorry to hear that you not feeling on top of the world today. A quick splash of cold water on your face might helps to make you feel refresh. Follow by a big hot mug of strong coffee, it always works for me. Try it out but if that keeps you awake all through the night dont blame me.. But if your dizziness continues, eat some pain killer which can helps you ease the dizziness. Relax and do some light work for a while.. When it gets better than continue with the other tasks... Get well soon...

Thanks dear for your concern. My face is wet already because of too many splashed since the morning. The coldness of water help to relieve the feeling for some time only and after a while it's come to haunt back. I think my HR dept. got some stock for painkiller. I will be away for a while and if the above suggestion not working I will get the painkiller. Thanks for you advice.

Hi corleone
If you feel dizzy... Sit down with your head between your legs. This will help the blood flow to your brain.
Breathe deeply and slowly. Your brain is starving for oxygen so you need to make sure you take in large breaths but do them slowly.
Take small sips of water slowly until you feels better.
The common ginger has been traditionally used in treating dizziness.
A cup of Ginger Tea helps too...cause Ginger can act relatively quickly in treating dizziness... It's work on me too..
Remember to : Take a good rest, nothing is as important as your health and state of mind.
All the Best !!

Hi..I never heard this type of treatment before.Very Interesting and I'm definitely will going to try it. Ginger tea is not available at this moment as I'm in the office. I will be away first to try the method that you suggested. Thanks a lot and sure will update you later on the result.

are you sure your blood is not high there are many things that could cause dizziness like a ear infection you know your ears keeps your balance.but the fact you have a headache is a sign of blood pressure or sinistis can cause a headache and when it start a sinistis headache it,s hard to stop it.so my advice to you is see your doctor to head this thing off.

Don't you think you should go see a doctor? Getting dizzy and a headache is a bad combination. LOL! Usually when I feel these symptoms,I rest. If I'm in the office, I tell my boss that I just need to lie down for awhile. If I can go home, I'd do it and take the day off. And I avoid being in front of the computer when i have a headache. Could be the one triggering it too.

Thanks a lot for your advice. I try to hold the feeling for a moment. If still not okay after my lunch time, I will go to see the doctor. Right now is quite hard for me to get a leave, because there's no one to backup my job here.

You should go to bed as soon as you can. Last week, I had to stay very late to study my mid terms. I was awake till 5am and had to wake up at 7h30am for my exam. I did feel sleepy during the day afterwards and felt kind of dizzy. There's nothing else you can really do but to get some rest. Your brain and body need to regain energy. Don't push yourself to far or else you could faint. :/

And this is the last thing I typed in MyLot during the whole morning. After I followed several suggestion from above respond, the conditions better already. And it's becoming more better after I had my lunch. Now I'm waiting for office hour to be finish, around 10 minutes more. Thank you for your advice.

If we lack sleep and rest, our blood circulation becomes weak that we can't control our physical movement unless we must give our body that needed rest. The brain, the general manager of the body is weak, so decision to be made will become dangerous and erroneous. The body can regain its lost oxygen by eating or drinking capsulized young red mushroom. This is very effective to me. After few minutes, I could feel the effect of regaining energy and fast recovery from headaches.

I would go see a doctor to check you out if your symptoms are unexplained like staying up all night or having a hangover. They symptoms of unexplained fatigue and dizziness with headache are symptoms of many conditions, probably most of them benign or treatable such as anemia, pernicious anemia, poor diet, brain tumor, stroke and almost anything else. It is probably time for a checkup anyways as you probably have not seen a doctor for awhile.
