I use microwave always. Even my coffee will be heated in the microwave. I also use it to heat my lunch. I have one at work.

I just warm food in it. For the rest I prefer using the traditional oven. Food does not become soggy such as in the microwave. © ronaldinu 2008

Ug. I don't think I could live on microwaved meals. Maybe once in awhile.

I will sometimes use the microwave to reheat leftovers. I also occasionally will zap an Amy's frozen dinner, but that isn't very often; I prefer cooking from scratch.

I buy Hot Pockets/Lean Pockets for a fast easy meal sometimes. I also buy a few Healthy Choice dinners and others if I don't feel like cooking it is fast and my husband uses the microwave when I am not home so he can heat up his Hot Pockets. I use the microwave to make Ham and cheese sandwiches so the cheese is ooey gooey or I make a baked potato since it is faster in the microwave.. But other then that I use it to heat things or melt things.

I really do not have a favorite microwave dish. I would have to choose pizza though.

Like you, I microwave mostly the fereezer stuff or heat up coffee, tea and leftoverss.
Recently, I've been buyin some of those steamer bags in the freezer section - vegetables mainly. They surprised me and turned out quite well. I have those bags put out quite a while ago for microwaving small meals - I can't remember the name - I used to put chicken and vegetables in them together and that was a good meal too.

Besides cooking popcorn I also boil water in my microwave dosen't take as long as the stove does and I also heat leftovers up in the microwave and cook things like microwave dinners and hot pocketws. My husband heats his hot dogs up in the microwave too.

i do sometimes use the microvawe to cook my vegetables. You just put brocoli or whatever needs to be boiled or steamed in a bowl. Add water just that the veggies are half immerged. You then put it in the microvaew for about 5 min. I think it's more healthy then boiling it because in the microvawe, all the water will be absorbed and no nutrients or vitamins will be wasted in the water. Steaming and such is just to much dishes to wash and it takes longer for the water to boil. You also save a bit more electricity :P have fun cooking

i don't actualy cook anything in the microwave unless it's a lean cusine or something like that. i use it mostly for warming up thing. sometime i will cook me a potato in there. i use it to melt butter for a recipe , like to cook my celery & onions for dressing , mostly that's all i do w/the microwave.

Mostly I use my microwave oven to reheat the food from last night so that my husband can bring it to work. I usually cook more for dinner because my husband likes my cooking and he seldom eats outside. His stomach is sensitive and could not eat outside food too much.
The type of food which usually goes into the microwave is such as white rice, chicken chops, stir fried vegetables and fried eggs. I never microwave breads because breads will turn into stretchy after it cools. It must be eaten while it is hot only. My husband eats at 10 am and surely the bread is not nice at that time.
