the best cook: guys or girls?

I wonder if perhaps a lot of women aren't very good at it because they are expected to do it as part of their gender role and resent that, and some men are good at it because for them it's a purely voluntary thing and so they approach it with enthusiasm and try to be innovative. Lash

When I was a child it is always my father who cook for us. When I get married I don't know how to cook so it is my husband who do all the cooking. But now I know how to cook dishes. I have seen also in tv and various restaurants that it is mostly male who dominate the kitchen. So I think the best cook are guys I have to admit it even though I am a girl. I just don't know the reason behind why they GUYS dominate the kitchen world.

My father is a better cook than my mother, a friend of mine who is a boy cooks well than any girl I know and most of the chefs in fancy restuarnts are men so i can say that though cooking is a girl thing, men can be the best in that world.

I think men are better in cooking. Maybe it's because men don't have mood swings and they can taste the food better than men. When we have fiesta here in our town, men always come to our house to cook. I rarely see a woman cooking for us during fiesta. I really don't know the exact reason why men can cook better. I may have to research it to find out.

Men who cook do it because they love it and some do it for a job but most of them do it because they love it. Women cook because they are made to cook, it is expected of them and they are not taught to be imaginative or experimental just to feed their family. Women who are trained to be chefs are just as good at cooking as men who are trained to be chefs. There are also a great number of men who have no idea how to boil water, just as their are some girls who have no idea how to do this. I do not think that gender has anything to do with a person being a good cook or not.

I believe both guys and girls are good cooks. But sad to say cos I'm a girl ok. I read and seen on TV, famous cooks majority comes from the guys. Am still trying to figure this out because I find girls are as good and creative as you guys. Why cant girls be as famous as the guys?

both of them can read,write,study,drive,sing,swim,draw...etc. so for sure both of them can cook and it's a kind of talent by the way ... so i vote for both of them..

My husband is definitely better cook than me, by Far! No wonder the greatest Chefs in the world are and have always been GUYS. Most of us girls know how to cook and some are Great cooks also but when it comes to comparison Iam for sure vote for Guys!

Yes, I find it also so, when the guy cooks, it's something different. I think that the best cookers are guys. Because when they make something, it's really good, they don't make often, but when they do, it sure is good. Girls just do usual stuff and it tastes good, but not as good as the guys food.
