How to start a new discussion a my interest which is not active

Am alittle bit stucked here, I want to start discussion on books that I like category but whenever I start a new discussion my options are limited of which category I can choose from, I have already added books as my category but it does not appear under the current discussion topics I normally discuss. Could you help me on this.

You can also add the specific title of the book you want to discuss. That may work. I have added a interest to my list Just to start a discussion and then take it off. I also have asked a specific question under a broader interest and just added the real subject as a tag.For example, I asked about The Green Bay Packers under NFL and then gave the post the tag Green Bay Packers.
