Economy Melting down, are we also going down?

With the slow economic situation that is happening to us now, I think it is wise for all of us to think about something useful. For me and my husband, now we don't go shopping for groceries as often as we used to before. Now we only buy necessary things and we try to avoid buying expensive food. We like going to the Tesco or Bintang hypermarket because they provide us with cheap priced goods with good qualities. I still buy fresh chicken, meat and fish but I never go to the wet market. There, the price is much higher. I always shop in hypermarket for all grocery things. I used to cook 2 - 3 dishes before for our lunch and dinner. Now I only cook 1 dish for each sitting. We can cut a lot of expenses from here.
