If you could reduce your bills, would you do that?

For some weeks ago, I did an overveiw of my budget. I counted how much interest I was paying on my credtcards and bank loans. I noticed I paid a lot for only the interest, and that the loans and credits did not paid of much. So i did this, I took a loan and paid of everyting, now I have one loan and pay one interest instead. I also did get a lot of my salary over after paying all the bills, that is now reduced to only a couple.
I can spend more money for my self and do some stuff I could not before. It do not make me happier, however it do feel great to know I can spend more on stuff than before. But, I do think of where I do spend my money. I think - do I really need this, or not before I actually by it. It does feel god to know I can, but I do not.

I was planning to do just that early this year... since i also noticed that i was paying a lot interest from my credit card loans and other loans... but then... i did not push through with it... since my father lend me some money without interest... but it was not enough to pay for everything... so i still have some loans... with interest... but it is no longer as much as what i was paying before...
It is good that things are working our for you quite well...

Thank you aseretdd, for responding. I am so happy that I have reduced my bills. I now can feel god with it and still have enough money to save for unexpected things. You work hard, and sometimes the budget do not fit Your wallet. So I thought, try and se if it work out. And it did.
