A white christmas tree or a green one?

In our country, we don't have snow so we've had a green christmas tree ever since I can remember. Having a white tree would be a new experience!:)

i would love to do a white xmas tree with all the ornaments in shades of gold and white lights. did that a LONG time ago and it just looked beautiful. no longer have all the gold ornaments though. or perhaps a white tree with all shades of red..or shades of blue ornaments and lights, that would be very pretty also! currently we have a green tree. its pretty neat actually. all the branches have fiber optics in them..so you see the green tree during the daytime, but at night when you turn the optics on its like it has built in lights and shimmer and twinkle a rainbow of colors. very lovely, in fact it can be rather mesmerizing to sit and watch. i tend to find my eyes drawn to it when the lights are on lol!

I have always had green trees for Christmas. I was at Walmart the other day and they even have pink, purple, and blue Christmas trees this year. They are only about 3 1/2 feet tall, but they are cute.

I want to get a white christmas tree this year. I've been keeping a green christmas tree for quite some time now and it's time for a change. I've started to look for the decorations that would pair up nicely with the tree.
