sachin tendulkar, the gem of cricket....a gift to the world, the numero uno dream merchant..no adjective can really express his masterpiece.he is unique.starting his carrer from 1989 till now almost 20 years he is there serving the country.he has passed many hurdles and stayed as a backbone of the indian cricket team.whenever he has been criticised he has replied heavily with the bat.neverthless,he is the best batsman. but after so many years of cricket,if he retires within a year there will be a definite void in the team.surely no one can feet his boot.so india must try to find young guns quickly or allow sachin to play as much years he want to play.today he got his 40 th century in test cricket.let's expect much more in the future?

Sachin Tendulkar in my thought is what describes Indian cricket. He has been the face of Indian cricket and, what I think, of India too for last 2 decades. He has stood tall throughout his long career and just thinking of his retirement sends chills along my spine. Who can fill up his place from among today's Indian cricketers? None from all over the world I think!! After the retirement of Brian Lara, another master in his excellence, I think there is nobody to match the potential and the figure of Sachin. It would be a very sad day for India when Sachin retires, but thinking practically Sachin also can't play for 100 years!! Somebody should step in, or the burden can be evenly distributed among the team members. Hope in future, someone will come, keeping my fingers crossed...

yeah i admit that tendulkar has been a great servant for the game.he has been a great ambasador for the game & for the country. He has represented the country with utmost pride & prestige.his services to the nation are unmatched.but at the end of the day you need to look into future.some day or the other tendulkar has to retire.then what?we wont be having able replacements for him.so it is better to groom youngsters from now on.as far as expectations are concerned he has shouldered the expections admirably.so there is nothing much to be expected.
