Do you think JK Rowling should write 8th book of the Harry Potter series? / myLot

JK Rowling has written 7 books till now about Harry Potter & they have been sold like hot cakes, but now she has stopped writing Harry Potter book. What do you think? Should she write more Harry Potter books or are you bored of her books & she should stop writing Harry Potter books?

I didn't expect she write more books althought I'm not bored of her book. Too long story will make poeple lose interest. Never try to attract audiences' eyes with too much words, unless you can give us something new.

Hi sysulsyxl! I wanted to hear exactly that. JK Rowling should really write something new which is far better than Harry Potter (of course it is also good). But, the I agree to your point that she should start a new & better story to keep her fans happy.

If I where to ask I would say that she should right more harry potter book as long as the content and the stories are as good as before.

i definitely agree because i love all the Harry Potter series. The characters play the roles perfect and J.K. Rowling is an amazing author. She should write an 8th series with more drama and love in it.

I think she is right. She must have a time to stop. If she keeps going, how can we image so many Harry Potter will appear. I like Harry Potter, but I think seven are enough. I do not want more.

JK has said that she's thought about writing an 8th in which Harry isn't the main character. While it'd be nice to revisit Hogwarts, I think the series is good as it is, it doesn't need another book.

I hope that Rowling continues to write more stories about the wizarding world.If she wants she can continue writing about Harry finishing their seventh year at.Hogwarts . If not then about the lives of other characters as Quincy says.

i think she should write and write and keep writing until she rans out of stories to tell. i just love the harry potter series and i somply can not get enough of it!

Yes, for sure she shoud write more potter books, if its me, i woul write more 3 or 4 books with the Thiago Potter LIVE, exactly like she did with potter, i think evebody would like to read the true childhood of Thiago, Lilian, Sirius, Voldemort and the others great characters of the book, Then, When the Thiago potter history meet Harry History, then i would make a continuation of the family with the son of potter ;) Be Happy !

I loved all the Harry Potter books, but I'm not sure I'd like to see an eighth. On various websites Rowling has explained what happens to each character (job, marriage, children) and that has satisfied my curiosity. My other worry is that I felt a lot of book seven was just 'passing time' until the final battle with Voldemort. With that over, I'm not sure what story there is left to tell. The series was created with a very definite finishing point and I think she should leave it at that.
